My order just came in. perhaps i need to cancel the replacement order.

My BDs orders almost all shipped using priority shipping. Both me and Amazon can trace the parcels. So, when Amazon give me refund or replacement option, it didn't necessary mean the order really missing. It is partially because of the late delivery. After all, I paid for priority shipping and of course expect fastest delivery. Otherwise, what is the point of pay extra? Right?

So, some times, it is a compensation of late delivery and some time is really replacement or refund for real missing parcels which is really rare. But my last missing parcel still haven't arrive yet and already missing 2 weeks without any trace.

I note that there is no FINAS approval required for item shipped from UK.

yes. because most of the times it will arrive eventually although it can be quite late... once it arrived nearly 2 months; weeks after i have received the replacement ones

btw, 2 out of 3 times i received the original parcels and both times amazon told me to donate / give away the replacement ones - dont hv to return to them

you can do that. but most often times they will reply & tell u to just give away... although they can reimburst your shipping fee for the items you return to them, why they need to pay that, right...

i got a reply for them and they said too late to cancel. but i have an option to return the package

wOw looking at all your inventory of bds... i was just wondering do u buy and keep all and revisit them time to time or just get rid of those titles after a certain times of viewing....? u must've a big library at home, huh?

Yeah I don't buy BD too frequently for this reason as most movies are not worth rewatching but there are a couple that are just that awesome that are worth owning especially if they're on sale. Same with DVDs, although with VHS I admit I did have quite a library.

Online is cheaper ..
Newer ttls ard 10-20%
Older ttls - lets just say a lot cheaper..

Retail shops are of cos - instant gratification .. another dwnside is sometimes the special features/audio might be inferior..
