During the first Preve TT, the MERZ boss came over to introduce his shop with a friend that drives a Mazda3. I took a look in the M3 and notice the paddle shifters are a bit different in that, to shift up you use the paddle shifters, to shift down use a "down" button on each side of the steering, so you can practically shift up and down using only one hand.

I commented about this to the owner, he tell me this is good because he can "use right hand to shift and left hand to grab pu$$y"  sweat.gif

Exhaust warranty sure gone already. As for engine warranty, technically still valid. But if something goes wrong they can always blame your aftermarket exhaust system.

No, my car already very high fc, during second service i ask sc can solve it with ecu reflash or not, they say can't, so i changed my exhaust system, but it just improve a little bit, so i think the main problem is ecu? because i don't always speeding, max speed only about 100~120km/h, doesn't matter city drive or highway, still the same fc

Reflashing should have nothing to do with warranty, you shouldn't need to pay for it, aftermarket exhaust or not.

Correct me if I am wrong, though.

Yes. FLX Manual got ECU update. Call your SC before visiting to make sure they have the machine to update ECU. Some small SC not equipped.

Added on December 24, 2012, 9:22 pmBtw, ECU update is FOC

haur516,

Regardless of warranty, SC will blame your FC on the exhaust & will not allow u to reflash ECU. Changing of exhaust system may also affect your warranty in the future. There's possibility that the O2 sensor will be affected by the aftermarket exhaust.

However, by changing aftermarket exhaust will mean elemination of catalitic converter, so u release some horse power at the same time save petrol. I believe after proper run in, your car will have better FC. Partly contribute by the loosen piston ring/crankshaft bearing, so the engine will run smoother & lighter. Ultimately, I only believe driver's style that affect FC ultimately. U can learn some of the driving technique by attending out TT.
