Regarding claim matter:
Windscreen itself is very cheap, only cost around RM200. However, buying windscreen coverage, minimum is RM300 sum insured. Rate is 15%. So you pay RM45 coverage for RM300 windscreen coverage. Other than that, during windscreen change, front/rear windscreen needed 2 can of silicone glue for each windshield, each can retail price RM25, there goes RM50. Workmanship is around RM100. So, the windscreen claim normally come closed to RM400. FYI, most insurance company maintain an internal record, which their customer claimed 3 times onward (be it minor or major claim), the client IC number will be blacklisted
Some other insurance company may let you continue insured with them, but your premium paying are subjected to extra loading/excess. Loading means, pay extra for nothing. Excess means, any claim less than certain amount bear by owner. For example you crash your car, damage is RM3000. If you have excess RM2000, insurnace company will only pay RM1000 to the workshop, you yourself will have to bear the RM2000 repair cost before workshop stop to work on your car. At this time, don't even try to withdraw your car from workshop, because the workshop will also demand you a ransom of RM3000 just to withdraw your car from the workshop
I have purchased my windscreen coverage for sum of RM440, premium paid RM66 - 10% staff discount = RM59.40. I chose such odd figure, because it was according to adjuster report, which is maximum I can claim up to RM440. Some company allowed claimant according to "AGREED VALUE" will allow you to claim maximum according to your sum insured. Meaning that, if you insured RM1000 on your windshield, eventhough you only replace it for the cost of RM400, you'll still get to claim full at RM1000. I know my company does not allowed that, so I did not over insure it.
Removing rear windshield tint without spoiling demister

Do you know what is the usage of this thing in the picture? The flat side is used to strip down the tint on flat surface. Where as the bottom curve of "3" uses to strip corners and edges. Those who spoilt their demister, normally was caused by usage of this shit

Tribunal Pengguna complaint and related gangster claims
There's no contract/black & white/written agreement that you do not want the shop to remove your tint. More over, you've paid for the job done? So I guess you are in no ground to have any right to complain now. Unless before you make payment you already call to tribunal pengguna, get their lawyer go to the shop and advice you. But hey, who the heck are you? Most probably they dont even give a fucck whether your windscreen being ripped off. If you're a gangster yourself, you should go back to the shop and threaten them to pay for your next rear windscreen tint + new original windscreen glass + silicone gluex2 + RM100 labor. They messed up your factory windscreen, why should YOU have to cheat insurance company and make a fraud claim? If insurance company found out you actually have a faulty demister and make a windscreen replacement, you are the 1 going to jail, no the f***ing shop owner. Besides, the shop must be offering you to change your windscreen(side income for them as well!!!!!) You think about it lar, it does smell fishy from my point of view.
Why factory bond windscreen is important
I'm not saying don't change your windscreen even if it's cracked until start to leak or wind blown on your face, but I rather have my factory bond
