Last week alone did 2x insurance talk in hotel conference, below is my findings:

1) On average, only 70% of consumer aware there's windscreen coverage with extra premium without affecting NCD when claims incurred.

2) Less than 10% understand they can call a fraud claim to insured windscreen AFTER windshield cracked.

3) None of my audience knowing factory bonded windshield is the major support of the roof

4) 100% of windscreen insured claimed their windscreen before. 2 type of claiment. 1, windscreen cracked, need to change. 2, windscreen no crack, but since I've insured for more than 6 years, might as well smash it & claim new windscreen?

5) None of the client know tinting film can be insured seperately from windscreen.

So, if your windshield worth RM500, your tinting also worth RM500, your extension should be like this:

Windscreen RM500 * 15% = RM75
Tinting film RM500 * 15% = RM75
Total payable premium = RM150

If you insure windscreen RM1000 as a sum, u only get to claim RM500, not RM1000.

rear beam allignment tak sama with normal multi link alignment one... Beam allignment normally done by more experienced sifu one, not many alignment shop know how to do.

Any shop in kl/puchong that recommend to apply the auto car lock thing ?
Right now the my flx won't auto lock the door when i start driving and i need to lock myself.

I went there for my 5k service 2 weeks ago. A fat guy with quite long misai SA attended me.

I did ask whether got ECU update, and he said only for Exora and 1.3 FLX. If you search back previous thread, there's a photo posted by a forummer showing ECU update applicable to all FLX version and also stated 3 SC you should contact...

When I saw the photo, I felt cheated by that SA. Me purposely go there for service cum ECU update. 

Some sc say only for FLX CVT
So u updated already? If not u can still go to sc to update, FOC one

is ECU updates for FLX is official annoucement?

hi, i've been a silent reader to this forum since i bought my flx in 2011 august.

here's the photo, not my car.

red = claimed foc item. almost like big-d seal
yellow = my own seal (small-d)

btw, i also hv big-d rubber on the front edge of hood for better seal including between headlamp and hood

if seal whole gap of course la cleaner engine bay, if only the intake don't know 

at first i thought it the hood cover, so no further question
later found out only that small rubber.. haha

initially i only cover front between bonnet and headlamp/grille except the air intake part
i've search and asked people and my conclusion is the air should be coming from grille upward into the intake, if we assume the intake does suck air
the gap on our saga jz too big compared to other makes or persona for example.

and if the gap does function shouldn't it be big enough to suck more air?

also the engine bay is quite dirty cause water and dust easily came into engine compartment thru the gap

Yup, logically appears that cld b the reason...
With our windy & rainy weather...plus our dusty environment!! 
Water (& dust,etc) cld b sucked directly in2 intake mouth @that location...

ps. Might b a good idea 2add those Big-D/Small-D seals...4those BLMs/FLs which don't come with the seals...even certain FLX batches?

Your car is manual? Only improve semput2 during idling?
So now can change the rear drum brake to bigger size FOC?

got one time when konvoi with my frens elantra 1.6, he said cannot chase me
speed around 140-150

fastest i've been 180.. petrol drains too fast.. but mine is cvt

nice......even with lots of weight still can go 170...
ever tried >170 ?

Just now driving halfway suddenly alarm triggered and double signal enabled..
