QUOTE(Phc @ Feb 23 2014, 11:10 PM) very hard to turbocharged a prius with oto cycle engine. You wlll blow the whole transaxle up. Even a mercs mechanic with 30 yrs experience dont dare to mod my prius. However , you can turbocharged it , but you will need hell lots of money. The ECU TCU cannot handle boost. Yes, a lot of money cuz my friend said he ask him Japan technical team come and custom make the kit, they are hybrid specialist |

QUOTE(smliu @ Feb 25 2014, 08:45 AM) Since you are so interested in mod the Prius c, have you done the sound insulation? The car rather noisy; road noise, tires noise...etc. I'm ok with the tires noise cuz I just changed tires not long ago with wider diameter but remained 15" (Ecopia)Sound proof not thinking to do it - sound proof, DVD player, reverse camera, skirting all this accessories I'm not interested. Hahaha, prefer touch the engine. |

QUOTE(smliu @ Mar 3 2014, 09:29 AM) You have very good record, congrats. Mind tell what is the actual cents/km when you pump the petrol over the mileage done? I found that when using diff petrol, the display show different but actual mileage is the same. Some petrol the display show >26km/l and some show 17km/l but actual mileage are the same which is about 10~12cents/km. Pump RM55, run 600km but meter showing 19km/l, the meter some how can't be trusted nowthanks. |

QUOTE(smliu @ Mar 4 2014, 10:37 PM) This is what I worry. I used to pump Shell petrol the meter shows 16~17km/l which actual fc is 11cents/km for distance driving. This time, I pumped Caltex petrol, immediately the meter show 24~25km/l. I am not sure what cause the meter to read differently. Surprisingly the reading is immediately after I left the petrol station. Like what I said few post above, hot sunny jam weekend, the meter can drop from 22km/l to 18km/l in less than 30 minutes drive but still in the end I can achieved 600km Last time 600km my meter reading average is 23-24km/l but now with the same mileage, the meter some how average between 19 to 21km/l |
