What it the service interval for PC? I don't understand the spreadsheet of maintenance cost in the 1st page. According to Toyota website, you can choose to have basic service interval of 10K km or 5K km for rigorous driving conditions.

So, do we have flexibility to select long or short service interval?

you can choose to have 10k or 5k...i done before but....my advice...keep OCI to 10k...is quite waste to keep OCI at 5k...coz the oil is quite clean after 10k...just like light color "teh o" only.. smile.gif

Everyone on whatsapp channel now, everyday so many msgs. Want to get second hand Prius C better find TopMark, they give warranty. Anything happened to this car you must find Toyota.

Prius C maintenance is cheap. I just serviced my 60k km maintenance with full synthetic oil (0w20) at Cheras Toyota SC, the bill is RM290++

Service interval is 10k km, no need short service interval. Your engine don't operate much due to 10% - 50% journey you are traveling by battery. Some owner even service every 20k km.

If you are looking for cost saving and get a second hand Prius C (RM60k ~ RM75k), no hand itchy pump ron97, change rims bumper accessories. The car really save a lot!

Battery is about RM8k but normal life span is 300k km. It comes with 8 years warranty also. Just set colder air cond in the car then you can keep your battery safer (the battery cooled by cabin air).

Sorry if I lack comprehension skills but do you mind elaborating? Top Mark provides the warranty but one has to look for Toyota? Do you mean that TopMark will pay for the issue within the warranty period?

Topmarks owned by Toyota, it sell all the traded-in cars from Toyota/Lexus showroom. They don't sell all the cars they got, usually they will sell to second hand cars dealer. For those traded-in cars with good condition, they will open to public with higher price. For the best, they will provide 1 year warranty, but the price would be 10-20% higher than u can find in mudah.my.

Before deciding to give warranty, they will bring the cars to Toyota SC to do full check. Warranty only available for cars with great condition. That's why I recommend you to look for those with warranty given.

After you bought it, any problem just bring in straight to Toyota, their systems are linked and they will honor whatever warranty given by Topmark.

Hi all. I went to service my car at Toyota Cheras and they asked me to replace my 12v battery, which costs RM700+! The voltage is currently stated as 12.3 or 12.2v (don't remember). I asked if this can last another year and the service advisor says probably not. Anyone has replaced the 12v battery before and at what voltage? Seven hundred ringgit is a lot to spend. Thanks!
