QUOTE(mohdrafiz @ Jan 13 2013, 11:13 PM) Who has ever think of upgrading to Prius after owning PC . Anyone? If yes, why? Will help me make decision. Once i buy i normally dont change less than 7 yrs. Tq all They are 2 different categories; Prius is mid size and Prius c is small size. Depend on your own which to go for. I will not buy Prius, the centre console box occupying too much space and not spacious at all. I am looking forward for the launching of Prius MPV as shown in the photo. Nice? Prius MPV just launched in Europe last year, not sure when coming to Msia.Attached thumbnail(s) |

Anyone tried this b4, turn on the car or after you stop at your parking lot(parking gear), press the accelerator fully. What will the engine or electric motor respond? Can anyone try this and post your feedback here?
When I pressed the pedal fully, the electric motor starts running. Are you having the same? Need your feedback please, thank you. |

QUOTE(KnightFox @ Feb 20 2013, 03:11 PM) I tried to floor the gas paddle from a moving motion (30km/h), the thing i notice is that you wont get the sudden surge of acceleration like you normal car, you will hear you petrol engine giving you the vroom sound but the speed is steadly increase. This action actually burn more petrol but delivers less energy to the car. Thanks. But what if you are in "parking gear" and not moving. I was so curious pressing the pedal to the floor and the electric motor kick but not the petrol engine. I can hear the sound of the electric motor. Which I think this is not supposed to be the case as it is at parking gear.As for the response whether if it is electric or engine or both, it depends. But in the end, if the gas paddle is hold to the floor, the end indicator will be engine my 2 cents Please try as I am curious to know the end result if it is normal or not. |

QUOTE(kasumen @ Feb 20 2013, 10:22 PM) When I looked for hybrid, Honda salesman told me the same thing; he said the tax exemption would be expired in beginning 2013. I think this is the way some salesman trick for push customer to place order with them. I finally decided for Prius c as 2013 year end discount of 5k + 500 service voucher, what an offer. |

QUOTE(doormen @ Feb 22 2013, 12:30 PM) It seems like my cabin sensor alarm is not working , I ask my wife sit in the car ,n I off the engine and get off the car then arm my alarm , it never trigger alarm at all even my wife doing all the movement n motion inside the cabin , is it need special instruction to on the features ? As I know u can on or off the cabin motion sensor using remote on a vios original alarm which I did before .. I was in same situation and wonder why the alarm is not triggered. After a while about 30s or more, the alarm triggered. This alarm is set to delay mode for most of the car in case of motion sensor. |

QUOTE(foongchinboon @ Feb 24 2013, 01:23 PM) Need some opinion here, I asked the supervisor abt it when i was servicing. He said all oil the same for Prius c as long as stick to 5k service. Syn oil is for hot/high torque engine(racing engine) so that the oil won't break down easily. As for Prius c, not much different and effect. So, I stick with mineral oil as I will service my car accordingly. Just my personal opinion. What type of oil for yours 3rd times onward service? There is fully Synthetic and Synthetic Formulation, which 1 u guys prefer? price different ~RM110. think both also for 10k KM |

QUOTE(mike1986 @ Feb 26 2013, 08:38 AM) I personally hate HID so much because those lights always hurt my eyes, especially while driving on highway at night. Those HID hurt your eyes bcos the lamp is not designed for HID. Prius c projector lamp is suitable for HID and works very well. For those who travel at night most of the time, HID is definitely a merit. Ofcos, 4100~4300K is road safety standard. I was thinking of HID but finally decided to upgrade the bulbs to Night Breaker Plus which has increase the intensity of light on the road; suitable for me. The reason is good HID set cost more than thousand and China made is cheap but spoil easily. If you are travel long distance and the HID fail you, what will happen? This is what my friend experience. Anyway, it is personal preference. |

QUOTE(gacktleong @ Mar 14 2013, 07:26 PM) I heard alot of people saying : install a normal white bulbs on halogen give very similar feeling of HID. I am using upgrade halogen bulb Night Breaker Plus for both high/low beams. These are standard CE approval bulb. For those who intend to change the rim, just take note the following the tire foreman told me.
When rim size alter to a bigger size like (15"->16"), this will increase the require initial torque to push the rim. As our Prius c run the electric motor 1st before the petrol engine kick in. The electric motor will suffer from stretch to overcome the initial higher torque. When electric motor broken down, SC 1st thing will check is the correct rim size b4 proceeding to other fault checking. Prius c came with imported Japan light weight rim and it doesn't get dirty easily as I find it very clean most of the time. I actually love this original rim! |
