QUOTE(gabriel.l @ Feb 17 2013, 11:32 AM) Hi, want to ask. Say if my phone need to send warranty for a month or so, will Celcom charge bill on us that particular month? Of course they will charge. No reason they should give u rebate as u still can use the line on another phone.Or will there be any rebate on this? TQ |

QUOTE(raymannlucas @ Feb 21 2013, 05:47 PM) sorry for all the confusion. The problem have solved. Depends on your usage. Maxis is not that bad, and with the new policy of just capping the speed rather than charging when user finish their allocated quota, I think most users will not have billshock now. Am a celcom user though, and sometimes their customer service ppl are damn dumb. When i said that maxis got bill shock problem was when i checked on maxis thread. All maxis user comment seems scary. So i guess celcom is the best for iphone plan. Right? |

No idea why but celcom 3G reception on my iphone 5 is much worse compared to when I was using iphone 4. At my work place I only get 1-2 bars on 3G, had to switch to E today as I couldn't receive pics on my whatsapp. Gosh, what's wrong with celcom?

QUOTE(Redlynex @ Mar 4 2013, 07:34 AM) No. Either u finished the 1GB data before your billing cycle ends and buy new quota or u'll have to wait till the billing cycle ends and u'll get the new 3gb quota again, and when it finishes, sms to 22188 again to request. |

QUOTE(sarcasm90 @ Mar 19 2013, 10:42 PM) hi guys, just wanna ask for a first timer, when you subscribed to i98, you'd get charged an upfront charge of which would be deducted from the advance payment you've paid, yeah? what kind of upfront charges is it? it's my first time using postpaid so i don't really get the things stated in my bill, and it says the upfront charges is 300 Upfront charges is the advance payment u made. Ur monthly usage will be deducted from the RM300 u paid till it's finished then only u'll start paying. |

QUOTE(sarcasm90 @ Mar 23 2013, 02:22 PM) Okay.. let's say i've paid 300 for the advance payment, and in the bill stated that for one time charges there's 300 of upfront charges, and a stamp fee of 10, and then there's the montly charge of 140, so the current charge wudve been 450, so minus 300 from there and i still have to pay 150? i thought the advance payment would be deducted from that 140, meaning i still have a balance of 160 yeah? What 300 upfront charges? i'm not really getting you, kinda confusing, but would suggest u to call 1111, speak to their CS and get it clarified, but good luck on that, because most of the time I would figure things out myself first before they can solve the problem. Real dumbos. |

QUOTE(soulquarianz @ May 28 2013, 12:19 PM) guys, need some help...i just terminate my association with maxis after a decade....been using various plan and last is BB 128... What was the reason u ported out from maxis?now i have ported my number to celcom with basic voice package rm40... i'm thinking of getting an iphone5 white 16 or 32GB i'm a very mild/lite user anyway, mainly for pic snapping for work related and other apps also work related.. while waiting for my number to be ported, i need your guys help...which is better to buy an iphone5 with celcom plan (12 months contract) or buy an outright phone from apple.com and register plan manually. currently voice call estimated around 400 minutes per month (maybe less) more sms (my customer or business partner is ol skool hehe)...FB, Whatsapp is occasionally...but i browse a lot ! so thinking of taking at least 3GB... so can someone suggest me something so i can figure out whats best ! also any idea a shop that can received trade in for 9780 BB lol.... I suggest u to get the iphone with contract from celcom IF u have no plans of changing telco anytime soon as u'll be able to enjoy the phone rebate. 12/24 months contract is up to u, I took up the 2 years contract as I wanted morr rebate when buying the phone and besides that, celcom will give u 10/20 months of rebate from ur phone bill depending in which package u choose. Their lowest data starts from 3gb. Combined with RM40 worth of voice calls/smses for the cheapest package which I believe u're using now. Hope it helps. |
