Hi Rick,

Cassette type air-cond is suitable for those that have high ceiling as it required at least 1ft high to install.
As from the design itself cassette can distribute cold air more even if compare with wall mounted.
Beside that it will also make your entire area look neat.

As for the servicing wise you can wash the filter easily by taking out the return filter cover. We do not deny that chemical service will have a lot work to do as you need to dismantle down the job. But so far i have did a lot chemical service and didnt face any problem.

Hi Rick,

The reason for locate the drain pipe a bit higher is to create a gradient for the drain pipe in order for the water to flow smooth. We are not going to used flexible hose for drain pipe as the water will stay inside the hose because of the un even surface. As you all know air-cond condensate water is cold and if it stay in the piping for too long it will become jelly hence will clog your drainage as a result will cause water leaking.....

Hi,

We are just taking a small amount of fresh air to minimize the re-circulation of air in the room. So far we do not face any problem.

Thanks for your comment and sharing. Im doing the ducting for the small room because the room size only 60sq feet. Beside that i have also close one of the casette outlet.
