First of all you need to disable the original installed Google Map by going into Settings -> Manage Application -> Choose the Map app and uninstall any updates and disable it. Then install the mod Google Map. Once you run it, in the notification will give a message for you to enable Google to login into your google account. The message will appear twice.

it will make your note2 feel cheap, i have one for the brown color, use 1 day only keep in drawer now

Technical answer: MD5 is a computed checksum that is supposedly a unique signature for each file. Therefore if you have LOTS of files or LARGE files or BOTH, it will take time to compute and compare.
Bootnote: MD5 has been cracked and is no longer securely unique, but for purposes of file verification it is still usable.

So since GN2 Nandroids are very large, it will certainly take a long time. Patience, padawan.
