Been there and done that...I have been using Android for the past 4 years and I know the benefits of rooting but with Note 2, there is no point for me to root as the stock kernel and rom are really perfect for me. The battery life on stock is awesome. If there is no Google Map (this is one most important application for me) for unrooted phones I will surely root my Note 2 and since there is one so no point for me to root.

If you come from other ROM, better do the full wipe.
For me, i always do full wipe.

Its a risk for all. Dun care root or no root. Waiting new perseus kernel to temporary resolve it until samsung comes up with something. Perseus S3 seems to be running without any issue so i hope the note 2 one will be release tomorrow.

Done flashing to the latest Monx, monitoring the battery at the moment.
Overall performance is much more faster.

For this kind of custom ROM, do they use back whatever in 4.1.2 and customizes accordingly? Or is it a fresh ROM that has nothing to do with 4.1.2?
Sorry, I'm a bit noob in custom ROM.

OK... It's backup and restoring time again.
I forgot to backup my SMS yesterday.
What is gone means gone, it's OK. Luckily I seldom use SMS these days.

its based on the stock poland rom hence the DLK7 label when u go to the page on xda
they then cook it
and becomes custom rom
the monx is really the best looking rom out there with minimal but tastefully done tweaks

OK, SUPER NOOB question. How the HECK do you remove the microSD card from the phone? I don't think we can just pull it out right?

Trying to push it in to make it eject doesn't work also

i would like to change the keyboard to an all black version (with the wordings / alphabets remaining white) while retaining the awesome symbols on the keyboard too..

i'm on monx, how do i do it?

I got tensed up and pushed it harder, it then ejected

now backing up to format to fat32. just now I tried to take it iut from the sdcard adapter supplied by sandisk, and it wasnt coming out

so for adapter also push and eject?

something tells me its not the same

Done flashing Monx too,
boot animation looks so cool
lock screen no need spen also got ink o.0
and scrolling from application screen feel slower than ARHD... (mayb just for me )
Additional apps = multiwindow control,rescan sd, terminal emulator (for what one actually ? ) , total commander (waa...blur ady), adaway, Goomanager, lockscreen tools..

stock standard but with the extra symbols on every key

I already shipped the cases to Msia, sorry all.. Busy with school meetings
