It's so difficult for me to get back my Chinese input language, hope it will not be gone when I switch to Monx. tongue.gif
It's a full wipe again? biggrin.gif

If you come from other ROM, better do the full wipe.

Done flashing to the latest Monx, monitoring the battery at the moment.
Overall performance is much more faster.

laugh.gif Thanks. biggrin.gif
For this kind of custom ROM, do they use back whatever in 4.1.2 and customizes accordingly? Or is it a fresh ROM that has nothing to do with 4.1.2?
Sorry, I'm a bit noob in custom ROM.
OK... It's backup and restoring time again. sweat.gif
I forgot to backup my SMS yesterday. doh.gif
laugh.gif What is gone means gone, it's OK. Luckily I seldom use SMS these days.

Enjoy the ROM.

I haven't downloaded any file for Perseus yet, still monitoring on my battery life with monx.
If it is needed, so just download from the link Noobi3 gave last night and flash via CWM.
Just like normal, "install zip file from external SD"?

Thanks again. notworthy.gif

Somehow i feel that the latest Monx ROM driain the battery more compare to the previous one.

Yes, I feel the same too, that's why Noobi3 suggested Perseus.
Not for my 2 sets of charger. Previous adapter suddenly failed on me after 1 month of usage. Current working unit has no hissing sound as well.
My sister's Note 2's charger has no hissing sound too.

Well i was using perseus but the 27.5 ver and not the latest one.
I revert back to DLJ2.

QUOTE(OnGx2 @ Dec 19 2012, 03:33 PM)
hello fellow note 2 users, i am planning to get a titanium gray note 2
can someone advise me whether to get the AP one or the original one?
AP = RM 1869, Original = RM2149 at my local place

is there anything important to check if i am buying the original note 2?(i am newbie in mobile phones)
from reading the forum, all original samsung mobiles are with FMG sticker, *#06# to check if the imei are the same with on the phone casing and box package, please remind me if there are others to pay attention on, thanks.

RM280 difference between original and AP, is there any quality/performance difference between them? any advice are welcomed smile.gif
*
Hi,
it is all depending on your choice.
What's the difference?

AP:
Local shop warranty
perhaps can give you more warranty period
Cheaper price compare to SME
No difference from the SME apart from which country the phone came from
In the event that something wrong with the phone and if the shop owner is the "Kwai Lan" people, then you might have issues when claiming for the warranty.

SME:
Standard warranty
Exp compare to AP
Good thing about SME, anything that you are not happy with the phone, complaint and they will get it fixed. (Within Warranty period)

Add me as well to monx monitoring. Flashed it at 2.30am this morning hehe but do notice faster drain. On default monx kernel.
*
I revert back to DLJ2 and notice that the battey goes back to normal. The latest one does drain the battery a bit.
Currently using Perseus 29

Don't have sdcard. So how?
*
Hi, All the information on how to flash ROM/Kernel/Modem are in the 1st page.
If you don't have SD card, you can copy the file into the phone internal memory and then flash it.
Before that, you need to know what is CWM/Mobile odin/PC odin and etc.

Read it and if you have questions, you can ask and we will try to assist.
but please don't ask the question like what is kernel? what is modem as it show that you never read the instructions.
Cheers

Just for all your info, people who is running monx with perseus is not running at default perseus settings. Monx rom init.d have a script that changes pegasus governor parameters.  wink.gif

Can elaborate more on this?
Until now i don't dare to play around with the ST tweak. hehehe
