First step, this is a new fresh laptop which has no Kies installed.
In order to use PC Odin, I need to have at least get it installed once? I remember I read this somewhere.

if windows xp, you need to install the kies after the usb driver. It can't download the CDC driver. I've encounter this lastnight after reformat my pc.

super worst case scenario : find dumb dumb SC so that they play leniently when it comes to "rooted phone void warranty" policy lol

if cannot detect or even can detect also keep on fail when flashing thru odin, you can only go to ssc and ask them to reformat for u. lyp very near oni ma tongue.gif
