Most likely the modem will be on 24/7. So, I guess I should go for MF680 [with heat sink]
*
You can never apply heatsink at MF680

The case antenna stop you from doing so nod.gif

Maybe you can add iPhone 5 to compare.
I feel iphone 5 speed more stable than my sierra modem and no hot.
but price very expensive. I use iphone 5 speed can up to near 30mb.
*
My friend iPhone 4S test beside me only got 14Mbps like this yesterday

Didn't test with iPhone 5 yet

Yup I fully understand that.

But when a unifi get clogged up by 10 persons streaming I don't think I can play anything.  yawn.gif

At least maxis gave me 70-100ms ping which is completely playable.  smile.gif
*
Maxis international latency is better than Unifi

Routing is better on most international node except Maxis link to Singapore route is wrong doh.gif

can anyone tell, force to 2100Mhz band got what benefit??  rclxub.gif
*
Maxis current UMTS 900Mhz only enable HSPA+ which is bad

UMTS 2100Mhz is DC-HSPA+ (high speed)

However, UMTS 900Mhz got better penetration rate, test which one is best for you nod.gif

Crap.
Dual panel antenna doesn't work on my E398. doh.gif
Dual panel, speed keeps deteriorating to 600kBps.
Plugged out one of them, speed shot up to 1.4MBps.
At first suspected my antenna port might be spoilt. After testing, no issues, both works like charm.
Only can plug in one antenna at one time. doh.gif Or it works well without panel as well. doh.gif

Added on December 29, 2012, 6:55 pmTested with 100MB file. doh.gif

2 panel beam width is wider thus harder to aim to the right tower, probably antenna 1 go tower 1 but antenna 2 go tower 2 so the modem rclxub.gif

This kind of condition use one will do nod.gif
