Umobile is incongested unlike Maxis

With right modem can get 30mbps and up anytime at my location.

Location dependent as well.

Agreed Yes getting the tender so they can supply broadband

So each school got their base station ( tower with 4 directional antenna ) so everyone nearby can get the signal also Yes 4G

So basically Yes fully covered 1 Malaysia with their tactics

No need to pay rent to any land owner for renting the space.

In name of education they already covered whole Malaysia

Scam tactics getting the tower install in the name of education

Very fakap lah YTL
*
Whole Malaysia every Kampung sure got school.

This is really fakap, MoE still need to pay them for the Frog VLE.

+ their network is highly firewalled, many content filtered.

What really pickup my concern is the next gen need to live with those high TX antenna almost everyday sad.gif

If you ever used MF680 and touched internal of E372 or touched the base of 320U then you won't feel E398 hot laugh.gif

one thing I notice with MF680..
when direct plug the modem to usb port at my laptop, it becomes hot as hell sweat.gif
but when using usb cable extension, it generates less heat, and i can use it all day without problem nod.gif
*
plugged to laptop, tight space = slower heat dissipation biggrin.gif

Nice trick notworthy.gif

If its not hot, its fried ~ 'dead fish'

Only smart pipu like Hot Stuff ~ now E173 and E1762 is cold stuff cause no one wans it.

Hot means the chips inside are working for the money spent.

My other modems like e1762,e220,mf622,mf190,mf691,e367,e355,umg1831 are all cold cause i dun use them anymore ~ btw,  E5331 is not bad actually  brows.gif can bring it everywhere to test QOS42000 , better than E355
*
I heard many reviews mentioned about unstable and etc

Working okay for you? hmm.gif

Anyway, your E398 is going to you today tongue.gif

do you have the unlock code for a Maxis E5331?

But, I don't know how to unlock MiFi and I am still learning how sad.gif

Anyway, PM me and provide more info as this is a Maxis discussion thread I am advised to utilize the PM feature doh.gif

In honest, LTE chip is a lot hotter than DC-HSPA+ chip.

But E398 implements a good heat dissipation solution. nod.gif

You make the conclusion smile.gif

I've posted this before but nobody seems to take note. The following scheduled task can allow OpenWRT for long run without someone manual reset it:
0 * * * * /bin/ping -c 10 58.71.132.10 || reboot

Basically what this command does is that every hour it will ping the IP address (Maxis DNS in this example) 10 times. If all timed out, it will reboot the router. I prefer this setup over pinging one IP address all the time.  whistling.gif
*
10 respects for you notworthy.gif

Anyway, what is the command to make the ping attempt shorter eg every 10 minutes.

Personally, I'd avoid pinging one IP address all the time especially to a popular server like Google's DNS. Most modern servers nowadays will start to block your packets to their server if they suspect it to be a DDOS attack of some sort. As long as you don't cross over their threshold limit, you'll be good. But not all servers have the same threshold, I'd prefer to avoid doing that completely.  icon_rolleyes.gif

No about defending or etc. Just speaking the truth

The key is still with Maxis nod.gif

If remove E398 from the equation, E372 VS MF680, some say E372 is faster some say MF680 is faster. Yes, they tested both.

Anything wireless is subjected to changes with an infinite amount of factor.

Some device antenna design may favour you some may not nod.gif

It depends on your pocket, if you can afford to get the best, just go for the best device available nod.gif

I do know some people is very happy even with a E367 they enjoying their internet.

It's Christmas eve guys so cheers biggrin.gif

Yes. even at beside tower do speedtest. also impossible can get over 32Mbps.
so now the speed limitation not the tower or LTE.
maxis server no allow so high speed.

but have 20Mbps speed is very satisfy for me.
*
I think it is the speed limit hmm.gif

Even with Umobile no mather how perfect is my setup, my IDM stable at 4.2MB+/-

E372 is still a legendary modem which I highly recommend and I like the small profile.
It always follow me no mather where I go.

Easy to be tweaked and configured.
+E372 can do heatsink mod = super stable modem
