Bought myself a Asus Travel Cover for Nexus 7 [Grey Color] while i was vacation at Japan for 1980 yen. Not bad but all the color variation that comes with it seems to get dirty easily though.

Define unlock? Normally we say a locked set is locked to a particular carrier, only that carrier sim card can be used. But the 32GB N7 you get from Newegg is just 32GB WiFi only. There's no sim tray on this unit thus no 3G connection. So it can be locked or unlocked since it doesn't matter Or... You can mean a locked bootloader. In this case, all Nexus 7 has a locked bootloader from factory. You need to unlock bootloader only you can flash custom recovery, root, custom rom etc.

At least it won't be so obvious. However the official cover doesn't come with the sleep wake function. So do consider first if you need the function before you buy the cover.

The file d/load size is much smaller as well.

QUOTE(MikeX @ Jan 11 2013, 03:06 PM) wow... what have u done before it dead? Mind to share. Nothing different really. Bettery was down to 12%. While usually it used to go all the way to 1-2% before shutting down, but this time the screen went blank & unit woudnt start. It will be a week without my N7 N7 does seem to have a lot of teething problem, may be techies can validate my hypothesis.

QUOTE(h@fiz @ Jan 11 2013, 03:29 PM) My kid loves playing with my nexus. She always accidentally press the power button or any other apps. Are there any good apps that can choose what apps my kid have access to and blocks the rest? Blocks access to outside links, advertisements or apps. I guess you can add a user account for your kid, however there is one app i saw in Play Store called Funamo Hope this helps Funamo Parental ControlThis post has been edited by cocooh: Jan 11 2013, 03:33 PM
