Seems like my Seasonic S12II has given up, noticed that it giving out 8V at 12V ports. And I stumbled upon Super Flower PSU, never heard of it is it reliable? Should I spend towards well known brand as EVGA, FSP instead?
*
You can give Silverstone a try too.

Guys do you recommend Silverstone Strider Essential 500W v2.0 over corsair VS450?

I know both are mediocre
*
SilverStone Strider 500w is a very stable PSU, recommend you give it a try.

600W is minimum recommended by Nvidia. I suggest getting at least 700W if u plan to add even more disks. Get better PSU as well. Silverstone is not that good anymore. Corsair CX or better, Seasonic, Super Flower and EVGA are the examples.
*
For your information, Silverstone's quality is better than Seasonic and it will not lose to other brands too.
The RMA cases is lower than Seasonic.

Any good 500w PSU? Under rm200.

The PSU that come with the Esuperpower case I got from Idealtech finally died after 2.5 years, pretty impressive for cap ayam PSU, I use it almost everyday on i3 4160 + r7 360, and this GPU consume more power than its Nvidia counterpart too, and it never explode once, just stopped working properly now. Thats why Im beginning to be sceptical about PSU in general, is it true if I spend more = better quality and longer lasting? Hmm

You can give Silverstone St500-es230 a try.

What about FSP Hyper K series, its no difference right?
Hey it seems like u only recommend products from silverstone, cant really take words from a salesman lol
*
Yes, we are Silverstone's distributor.
However, we only recommend good quality and low warranty PSU smile.gif If the PSU is not good, we don't dare to mention here too.

Any electronics has age. Japanese parts tends to last longer. Silverstone Strider 500W is on the budget side of things. Better grade 500ish is Seasonic S12 II 520W at RM265 from C-Zone. High grade 550W is Super Flower Leadex Gold 550W at RM429.

Power supply price is usually you get what you pay for. Check for reviews before buying. There are a few conman brands.
*
Please stay away from Seasonic PSU, their PSU got a lot of problems.

Yeah, I got Seasonic X-760 that is still alive after 6 years. I removed it just to test Super Flower Leadex Gold 750W. Didnt switch back because I'm making use of available warranty.

We received a lot of RMA until my boss decided to stop selling it sad.gif
