The WP8 OS is like the iPhone's. It's a lot more restricted than Android because of security measures to protect from unauthorized access or viruses. There isn't a file management system and you can only copy paste certain types of media to certain folders and vice versa. There isn't any problems with "stability". Right now WP8 is pretty solid and the only thing holding it back is probably certain types of US-based apps and of course, Google services (which you can access via the browser but there aren't any apps for Gmail or Gmaps but there are some for Youtube).

WP8 is probably the most noob friendly aside from iOS. Battery life is subjective. It depends on what you're going to use it for but let's be honest, all smartphones have sucky battery life. If you want to use 3G data constantly, then you should expect poor battery life for any smartphone.

One thing good for storage system, you can put to skydrive and access it anywhere, never lost your captured photo, it always saved to skydrive, just wipe your phone photo, get it back at skydrive :-)

p.s. my photo captured are saved in sd card, it can be set, besides certain folder can be created at sd card and the phone still able to read them like internal memory

if you use windows 7/8, I don't it is a problem transferring files from pc to phone or vice versa, just don't manipulate the files after your moved them to phone, do it at your pc before moving.

In terms of stability, I think Android also not much of stable as I know from certain people using it, they still occur crash, shutdown, need removing battery to restart and most important, always out of memory :-D

The last one "Out of memory" is very true for Android. Always need to clear memory if you need to use memory intensive application...

This may be due to the change of motherboard, since that would change the imei. As a result it shows as a different phone to the one your apps were originally downloaded to.

it should be backup applist under my hotmail account rather than motherboard right? unsure.gif

and yet, around 5-10% of apps is restore successfully, so if according to ur explanation all apps wont be restored at all hmm.gif

It's a bit complicated. If you login your Windows Phone account, see if got more than one phone icon there.

You may only be able to restore the apps that you downloaded after the motherboard changed. The rest of the apps I think you cannot restore because they're associated with your old motherboard. MS cannot push the download command to that one.

My experience was I used one MS account with two different Lumias, but list of apps you view in the account does not show which app belong to which phone. Anyway, I found I could not restore all.

the 5-10% app i successfully restored are restore from the backup before motherboard change, cause i only backup once only, before i sent to repair for the 1st time...
