QUOTE(weim76 @ Feb 2 2013, 12:17 AM) Actually, you can use your own email address (not necessarily hotmail or outlook) to be your Microsoft ID. I don't have a Hotmail account and I actually use my yahoo email as my Microsoft ID on my Lumia 820. This is correct. The confusing point is that the Microsoft Account is named Hotmail by default in the phone. However it can be renamed to anything you like.

QUOTE(ballistix89 @ Feb 8 2013, 11:20 PM) anyone knows where I can buy the charger cable? I've lost mine I think it's a normal usb to mini usb cable since I used my Samsung usb cable without problem. Any IT or camera shop should have one. This post has been edited by dgboy: Feb 8 2013, 11:25 PM

If I download an app from the US Store, then switch my location back to Malaysia or Singapore, will I still get updates for that app? Or do I need to change back my location to US for it?

QUOTE(more2teayap @ Feb 11 2013, 07:56 AM) Do you guys know any WP8 app that can determine the actual battery capacity? I'm using Battery+ which shows % charge and estimated remaining time on a live tile that updates every 30 minutes. Not sure how accurate yet but it's a nice app at least.

The story there referred to North America, where L620 is not launched.

QUOTE(more2teayap @ Feb 15 2013, 07:45 PM) I found some L620 back covers cost RM70 from china, don't know really could fit or not. Need to check the quality of the headset jack too since that's built into the cover.

QUOTE(chypp @ Feb 17 2013, 05:31 PM) How does the screen size fare for internet usage? (i.e. browsing, email & facebook?). Both the stock browser and UC Browser make good use of the screen space. I didn't feel it's screen is any smaller than the 4in screen of my Samsung, except the Lumia is more compact body and easier to hold and use with one hand. Bad points : No single column view for sites without mobile version. Cannot see clock when browsing. This post has been edited by dgboy: Feb 17 2013, 06:32 PM

Is this why Nokia auto-hides the signal icon? You can't even pull it down when using the browser.

yes, and superimposed over the webpage content > look messy and difficult to read.
wp8 UI really need alot of improvement in all these small details that add up.
the on-screen menu button (if three dots can be called a button) is another story.
