I dunno cos these days the manufacturers say no need to charge long hour like overnight.
Maybe I got a dodgy battery. Few days ago I charged to 100% before sleeping, then pull plug. Wake up morning and battery already drop 40%. And only data network with WhatsApp running, and my WhatsApp seems to sleeping most the time anyway.

Ya the battery do much better on WiFi then data.
And Battery live tile is half dead. Misleading %age showing due to the 30 min lag.
Can we do zero tiles? Need to experiment a bit.

Getting Started

|
My Lumia 620 battery life has been very unstable, it just dropped from 100% to 18% in just 1 hour+, of course no WIFI, data or apps running. Anyone tried swapping theirs with a high capacity battery like this one? - CLICK!

Not sure, sometimes the battery reading is just inaccurate. It will show 25% and 3 hours left, but it would last for over 8 hours anyway (still showing 25%).
So you are using the 1800mAH battery? How old is the battery? Compared to a 1300mAH, it shouldn't be just "improve a bit".

I found Battery Saver made no difference. Have set display brightness to Low since day one. Still fine for indoor use.
These days i switched network to 2G to save battery. Same as any smartphone, this helps the battery life. Switch back the 3G if cannot tahan the speed, for background app like WhatsApp 2G is fine.

same for me
I used battery saver first two months using this phone
then try without and couldn't find much difference
use 2G is the best battery saver, though rather defeats the purpose of smartphone
