Modification and justification involves more answering technique / common sense than Physics concepts , to be honest .

My advice would be to use tables to answer these questions . Modification on one side , and the reason on the other . The reasons needn't be complex , just think simple . For example :

Modification : The car should be made of low density carbon fibre
Reason : Light and strong , enable car to move faster

It is that simple . Look at trial answer schemes and SPM answer schemes . Looks like your problem is more on answering techniques rather than your understanding on Physics . Don't worry , most of us are still not sure of the answering techniques for all the subjects , I'm sure we'll get there before SPM .

Resolution of forces involves the breaking up of forces into their components -- sorry man , I can't help you here because it gets technical when there are more than two forces involved . Maybe posting a question here would help . You just need to practice more on this , plus make sure your basic trigonometry knowledge is there ; without it you can't do much . Is your Maths good ? If you are , you should be able to grasp this quite easily .

Again , you're being too general . What Archimedes ? The person ? His principle on buoyancy ? Calculations involving buoyant force ? Apparent weight and actual weight ?

YEAH, my answering technique for physics suck. Like I know what the answer is but i can't apply it on paper. so frustrating!!!! Modification kyaaaa idk how people say it's easy. T_T

Well archimedes when it involves the application for it. The Hydrometer and stuffs.

The application parts don't come easy , friend . Even I , who claim to be passionate about Physics , have to read the applications part multiple times to get them right -- especially the hydraulic brakes part , aneroid barometer , etc .

Simple answer : I understand . I rarely memorise anything in Physics , with F = ma as an exception ( if you would want to call it memorising , I remember all of the form four equations due to frequent encounters with them when practising calculation questions . )

I try to understand even the equations , like impulsive force , when time of impact increases , the overall impulsive force decreases , and then relate it to the equation . I ask myself , why , when throwing a ball upwards , the gravitational acceleration must be negative ; when going downwards , positive ; when involving both upwards + downwards motion , it's taken to be negative . I ask questions all the time -- I think this is an integral and a healthy attitude that must be in everyone when studying Physics .

Salt requires mostly memorizing and if you dont understand, you can view some video on youtube about salt. That's what I did for my last semester exam.
