If for degree lvl for CGPA in diploma must atleast 2.0.

Hey, I just checked with the PTPTN at their KL Central office. Good news is their dropping the interest rate to 0% interest. Mean how much you borrow, how much you return. For those student who's student fee's is higher than RM4000 per month is eligible to do advance payment from PTPTN which we need to fill up the advancement form.

Because two days ago I went to MCA because I can't settle my fee's at APIIT. They told me a good new's that PTPTN have reduce the interest rate to 0% due to economic recession.

I don't think is forever because they say within this recession period only until the economy back to normal next year.

Best way to confirm the rumor is to check out yourself at PTPTN headquarter near Damansara Height.

Let say you study diploma, 1st year you'll get RM8000. But unfortunately you cannot get straight RM8000 at once because they'll divide it to RM4000 x 2. So in order to let you get straight RM8000, you need to head to PTPTN office and fill up the advancement form and took 3 working day to proceed. Once confirm, you'll receive RM8000 straight.

If not mistaken, yes. 0% is not rumor, I went to KL Central PTPTN and the PTPTN officer told me it's 0% for this moment under Term and Condition.

Brother, this joke is so cold. It's not that easy to gain approval or not approve at all for borrowing RM300K because their maximum value is 60K only. But if you seek for 60k is also a little bit difficult because you need to show them your offer letter and total amount of money that you gonna spend during your study. From what I know, usually you yourself must be one of the government agent if not mistaken.

Maximum loan is 60k to be exact including the fee's from diploma to degree. Usually you'll get RM16,000 (MAX) from Diploma 1st and 2nd year and RM32,000 (MAX) from degree 2nd and 3rd year. For degree, approximate value will highly depend on your parent income, if your parent income is over RM2500 you'll only get RM26,000 for whole degree course.

PTPTN loans is only for students who like to pursuit their study locally only. If you wish to apply a loan for overseas study, you can try your luck applying the loan from JPA.

Nope, for those student who still under loan and haven't made any loan payback will be blacklisted and not allow to go overseas. Not the loan for overseas.

You said you going to study Advance Diploma but they already approved your loan for overseas study without officially having the offer letter??
Working for government is a nice thing huh

During Apply

1. Apply a SSPN account at CIMB Bank with RM20
2. Apply a Saving account at CIMB Bank with RM300 / RM30 with letter from College/University
3. Purchase the online PIN. from BSN with RM5
4. Login to http://epinjaman.ptptn.gov.my/infotech/ for registration.
5. Wait for PTPTN approval.


Once Approve

Students who applied for PTPTN on-line may check their status on the PTPTN website and print the necessary documents at http://epinjaman.ptptn.gov.my.

Successful applicants are required to print 2 sets of the following documents from the website:-

1. Maklumat Permohonan Pinjaman
(Boleh dicetak di butang CETAK MAKLUMAT di laman web Permohonan online yang di daftar oleh pemohon)
2. Senarai Semakan Dokumen
3. Surat Tawaran Pinjaman Pendidikan

• Akuan Penerimaan

• Students need to prepare TWO set of documents which include documents c, d, e, and f. For documents a and b students need to prepare one set.
  
• Print out one copy and photostat another copy than only sign.
  
• PTPTN officer will prepare "Setem Hasil", students have to buy from them.
  (do Not buy from outside)
  
• Don't fill up the date, PTPTN officer will inform which date student have to fill up.
  
• Every page of documents must have watermark (logo) PTPTN expect Surat kebenaraan 1, 2, 3, dan 4.
  
• Students must use black/blue ball pen only.
  
• Students must write in capital letter and hand writing only.
  
• One set of supporting documents must be submitted during the submission day.
  
• Supporting document must be photostats in A4 paper and certified with DSA officer.
  
• Students cannot use liquid paper.

Actually your problem very little only, just ask your father to write a confirmation letter of retirement and get a company chop to certified the content. When the PTPTN agents come to your college/university let them know. Or you can get the pay slip from your mother if she working.

I would suggest you to call up PTPTN agent and the phone number is located at official website. From what I know, you need to submit a photocopy of the business licensed together with borang J. It will be better if you can provide the average income for overall latest 3 month of the income. For more detail, like I say called PTPTN agents.

For you information PTPTN doesn't have any age barrier but keep in mind that they required you to submit the SPM result during registration. Your age 16 counted birth date or not? (Are you standard 5 skipped student??)

No, it is not possible. Don't forget that after you register online, you are required to print a hard copy of the PTPTN offer letter. You're required to submit your father detail together with his working detail when the PTPTN officer came to your college/university. For your information, if you're using guardian instead of your own parent, you must have witnesses who work for government only to sign and verify. Otherwise, PTPTN office won't approve your loan and reject you on the spot. Don't forget, not only the guardian ID being blacklisted, even you yourself will get blacklisted. Prepare to receive the law letter if you're never try the life in jail.

As I said, not possible. You must submit your own parent details. Tell me, could we eat without our mouth?? Rules is rules, as long as your parent is not divorce or dead, you must follow the rules. Sorry for being harsh.

Incharge during registration?? That is student service officer not PTPTN officer because PTPTN office will only drop by during the form pick up date. I suggest you go to the nearest PTPTN office for inquiring your problem but I'm very sure that you can't do so since I just pay a visit to PTPTN office at Central KL last week and I do ask a lot.

For your information, PTPTN will announce which batch or date for student to register online. If not mistaken, for MAY intake you only can apply during 01/06/09 - 14/06/09. The successful list will be announce at the end of JUNE. It might take a long way, but most of the student settle their first semester tuition fee's by their own.

The next PTPTN application is on June, so be patient until the date arrive.


No, during apply is online because they want to check either you were qualify or not. The actual submission is during the PTPTN officer arrive to your college to pick up and verify the hard copy of the PTPTN registration form to check either the information provided is true or false.

Either you get it from nearest PTPTN office or print it out from PTPTN website once you get approve.

From my experience, it's almost the end of second semester during my study. I'm not sure about you, maybe second semester you already receive the money but what you expect much from PTPTN?? Slow ...
