QUOTE(ff8ong @ Apr 22 2009, 09:40 PM) So you mean i should just start go to the website of PTPTN to register now?or wait for the card to arrive? Or just follow you the 00+IC as my SSPN acc number and start register and wait for the status to change?Since i already have PB ACC + SSPN + Online PIN. As you like, but I would suggest you register right now and fill up your personal data before the submission date. For your information, during the submission date they will be alot of people visiting the same pages and FCFS system will be frequently activate during the submission date and a lot of people might face disconnection issues. Why we wanna do such as harsh way while we only need to do now and relax at the war day by clicking send only ...

QUOTE(ff8ong @ Apr 22 2009, 10:26 PM) So i just do as you say, when i see the SSPN fill up place.I just key-in 00+IC number?Dont use the SSPN acc number that given from maybank SSPN paper? Why not? It's the same account, who told you that the account number will change once you receive the PTPTN card?? The card is proof that you were a member of SSPN only and doesn't mean anything. If during the submission that you still haven't receive the card, photocopy the SSPN application slip from bank and submit to PTPTN officer.

QUOTE(grache1991 @ May 1 2009, 02:14 PM) last month i open a sspn account edi, but edi 1 month i still not yet get the letter from sspn... wt should i do? can i apply ptptn via on9 without sspn letter? Show the SSPN registration payslip to SSPN officer, they'll accept it as long as the SSPN account number were printed on the payslip. In order to receive the original card, it took atleast 3 month for you to obtain that card. PTPTN release the SSPN card to the student batch by batch per month, not 1 by 1.

QUOTE(englandcaptain @ May 11 2009, 01:32 AM) my spm only hv 3 credit, will i get the full loan? The chances you'll get rejected is pretty high thought. But you can still try your luck out there but usually for those who get below 5 credit will be marked under consideration. P/S: The requirement for PTPTN will be changed starting from year 2010, since PTPTN were facing economic deficit right now. From the STAR newspaper, PTPTN might only consider the loan for those student who gain the flying color result during their SPM and no longer 5 credit and above. QUOTE(KKtxyz @ May 16 2009, 03:47 PM) What if i got only 2 A1 with 3 Credit? not flying color but still a ok result rite? any chance? Some more Im going to get the loan for pursueing my Degree in Apiit. and im nt a diploma holder. makes difference? Btw, the actual plan isn't officially announces yet, they might keep the PTPTN loans as usual. Your going for Degree year 1 right? Are you coming from UEC? STPM? SAM? A Level or etc? It doesn't make the different, but you could see the different from the amount that you're going to receive.

QUOTE(grache1991 @ May 19 2009, 10:31 PM) anyone answer my question pls? just wait until your status being approved, usually the approved list will be listed down at canteen 2 notice board. Check it out someday and wait until the briefing by the PTPTN officer before you're doing the official submission.

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ May 29 2009, 01:53 AM) No, I mean I haven't started studying yet, I am going for my 1st year diploma next month. What I meant was should I apply PTPTN online now, or apply thru my university? Anyway thanks for your sincere reply. You can't apply PTPTN right now because the requirement from the PTPTN is you must atleast start enrolling to the first semester of your study. Only receiving the offer letter isn't enough because your contribution toward the study is began after the date stated in the offer letter. QUOTE(wahlauyeh @ May 29 2009, 01:33 PM) wish to clarify regarding the old 3% charge apply to switch to 1 %..how to do so? any form, procedure, steps needed to be taken/apply? still find no info about it thru the website. thanks for sharing  Btw, only the student from 2006 intake until present may enjoy 1% of payback but to be honest not all student were able to enjoy this kind of repayment. Most of the time. 1% repayment are mostly settled to IPTA student as they only have to repay the "total amount of RM" + "Kos Pentadbiran" meanwhile IPTS student still need to do the repayment of 3% but some of it will enjoy the 1% repayment. Ask yourself how much you borrowed to complete your course? Does it exceed RM15,000?? You will get the answer yourself. This post has been edited by WingKalimdor: May 31 2009, 07:56 AM
