pity those nuri...already serve us half decade...we shud retired them respectably....
worried that can the frame hold another 20 years of service...

my PR-supporter friend questions why Sabah troops are not deployed to take care LD and ESSZON instead of Semenanjung troops..i replied "the reason why we didn't deploy Sabah troops is bcoz we want them to hold their current position in case of further invasion, we will be putting more risk to our border defense if we moved the Sabah troops from their current position"..does my answers can be accepted? lol sad.gif

lah, normal deployment la tu!
even if there is a skirmish or standoff in Semenanjung the Sabah and Sarawak will come and assist!

my another friend from UPNM has said the same thing to him, apparently he won't take that as the answer..still believes the deployment is a politic conspiracy or cover-up..

ignore them for now..btw, which one has better stealth level, F-15 Silent Eagle or JSF-35?

well those PR people believe in every single thing their leader say..makes me starting to wonder the difference between them and the brainwashed North Korean..hehe if u guys read the PR news, they say they going to create a shadow Security Council, a shadow-version of Majlis Keselamatan Negara to discuss about defence and security and at the same time criticizing every goverment moves about national defence..their 'security council' members including former army staff...

woaaaa what is this?

looks like a spaceship..2023 huh, i don't know, IMO during that time the T-50 PAK FA would be more convincing and attractive than that Turkey's jet..

I'm no expert but i remembered a documentary (i forgot either in Disc or NG Channel) comparing the M16 with the AK. The M16 have better accuracy while the AK have better penetration. It was also mentioned on that documentary that during the Vietnam War a lot of GI's were killed in the jungle while they were taking cover behind trees. The AK bullet penetrated the tree and hit the GI's.
*
i think i've watched the same documentary as yours..they were shooting a brick..one 5.56 round penetrated the brick but 7.62 penetrate and break the brick into half..it showed 7.62 has more stopping power or kinetic energy than 5.56..Futureweapons host also tested the rounds..he fired 5.56 round on a metal target..it didn't fall when shot..when fired using 7.62, the metal target fall..M'sia doesn't want to test the new round 6.5mm Grendel? and any new updates on our Taming Sari missiles?

SAAB eh? sounds convincing then..btw, the design looks very familliar to JSF-35 and chinese J-31..

its a small jet, wonder why the smaller size... hmm
*
cheaper cost and size affect the rate of radar detection maybe? judging from the pic, perhaps they lack in range but better maneuverability than other stealth jets..similar case to JAS-39 Gripen..only this T-F/X, they use double engine..

i wonder what materials do they actually used in stealth planes to avoid radar detection..

DASA Lampyridae (Firefly)
Medium Range Missile Fighter (MRMF)

Daimler-Benz Aerospace (DASA) has revealed details of a previously top-secret Stealth aircraft research programme conducted in Germany during the 1980s. The programme, known as Lampyridae (Firefly), or Medium Range Missile Fighter (MRMF), was run from 1981 to 1987 by what was then Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB), under a contract from the German air force. The work led to the eventual development of a three-quarter scale piloted windtunnel model of a multi-faceted Stealth fighter. Former project leader Dr Gerhard Löbert claims that the design “ very probably ” had better radar characteristics than the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk, despite the F-117 having more than twice the number of radar-scattering facets.Windtunnel testing began on a 1:3.5-scale low-speed model and a 1:20-scale transonic model in 1985. According to Löbert, these tests demonstrated high-quality aerodynamic properties, despite the disadvantages of the polyhedral airframe design.

radar-scattering facets? now i'm confused..does 'stealth' means they are invisible to the radar by means they're jamming the radar's signal so that it can't trace the jets? or the materials used on the stealth planes able to absorb the radar's waves instead of reflecting them? rclxub.gif

Well Stealth does not mean they are totally undetectable.
they are just reducing the radar wave to detect it effectively. in short it reduce the optimum range of the radar to detect the aircraft.
there are few method to reduce the RCS.
one of them is by designing the shape like the  re-entrant triangles or corner reflector.
size of the vehicle also effect the RCS. the smaller the size the less effort to reduce the RCS. the bigger the size will make it harder to reduce the RCS.
materials for airframe and RAM used were to reduce the RCS even further.

another method is by using active cancellation. Rafale is the only aircraft using these technology.
Active cancellation is supposed to work by sampling and analysing incoming radar and feeding it back to the hostile emitter out of phase thus cancelling out the returning radar echo.
according to wiki. Thales spectra FTW.
*
very interesting..i've read wiki and forums for the active cancellation..mainly it involves about superposition of waves..good thing i still remember my physics lesson..lol
but defencetalk says it is more achievable to achieve stealth by redesigning the shape of the aircraft into pointy shape..my question is the same as their question..does rafale have create a very fast on-board computer to calculate enemy's radar wave info(amplitude, frequency, incident angle, etc)? hmm.gif

PR's blogger? wow..they don't even have the slightest feel of proud to our armed forces aren't they..all they know is criticize after criticize..Kris Sakti is still new, what do they expect? a performance that can outmatch Red Arrows? a SU-30MKM RMAF pilot once did Pugachev Cobra not long ago..didn't remember when..the pilot's skill to do the maneuver amazed the foreign media..that time PR told people that the pilot is Russian..biased bastards..RMAF pilots are amazing people..

and this Il-28 also will it got chance to fly over SK air space??

that a dinosaur plane, should let it rest in museum...

lol..their air and naval assets didn't even have enough fuel to move..what more to go to war..only small fraction of their assets are active..the rest just laying on the ground, rusted..or can only move a bit, then breaks down..they're seriously going to invade S.K with that condition?

i'm just wondering..why RMAF didn't test the Russian's Kamov Ka-50 attack heli..? well..they don't have a tail rotor..less vital parts isn't it? (speaking about black hawk down..they were crashed due to a hit on the tail rotor..)

I wonder why Malaysia not in the list though
*
well maybe bcoz we don't want to carik pasal dgn China..if China see us allowing US warships entering our port, they may feel offended and assume Malaysia is allied to US..and maybe bcoz Malaysia wants to stay neutral..not supporting US or PRC..i'm just guessing..u know that Thai, S'pore and Filipina are US allies rite?
