The ILLEGEAR RS-17 EVO is built with a more "flashy" approach, as you can tell by the various lights around the speaker bar, keyboard and mouse pad, etc.

Hi, i wanna ask. If i choose the RE-15 with the promo upgrade. Then i decided to add my own HDD later, do the motherboard comes with 2ndary SATA for HDD?

If i were to dissemble the laptop, are RAM, HDD, optical drive, WLAN card, Exhaust fan easy to access? Easy access as it i just need to take off the back cover of the laptop only. Thanks.

Hey myself,

The RE-15 EVO has two SATA bays and one mSATA SSD bay, total 3 storage in one chasis.

Those parts you mentioned are easily accessed to, two ram slots, optical drive, heatsink and fan are located at the bottom part of the laptop, one ram slot and WLAN card are located underneath the keyboard.

We will provide a complete manual with pictures for your reference.

I just get my RS15 yesterday. The build quality is just simply awesome. I would say the best machine build i ever had from all the brand. Its super solid.

Beside the service from Prince, Marc is superb. Very well service. They can answer almost all the question that you ask.

The studio at Damansara? Is very cool with all the model display and cozy environment. Super nice place. You must pay a visit whenever available.

You will not regret with ILLEGEAR when performance matters. thumbup.gif

i have been eyeing for illegear for a while now, but there is something i cant get out from my mind.
Here's my question to Illegear:
1) last time you are the retailer for Sager, and i cant find any Sager laptop in the store, and some of the illegear looks pretty much the same like Sager, eg: the wing on the mouse pad and some on the hardware like speaker, is Sager=illegear?

2)rs-17 evo is it the same as clevo p177sm/sager np8298? if so, why does the sager cost cheaper than the rs-17 evo, what are the differences? it wound be nice if you explain all of it. (source: exotic pc)

that is all my question for now hmm.gif

We are both built on the same Clevo chasis.

MSI, Alienware, Acer, ASUS are all priced differently than Malaysia market, not only us.

By the way, have you factored in the int' shipping cost to Malaysia and contingent warranty cost? As far as I know Clevo machines from U.S. are not warranted here in Malaysia.

For the GPU part, it's a yes for the Illegear RS-15 (Clevo P150SM). icon_idea.gif
