and anybody have idea how to protect the aluminium lid for my RE-15?

i already had some scratch and the illegear painted emblem is "smeared"

I had this problem (Camera app asked to connect a camera) but try to enable your camera with the Hotkey (Fn+Esc) if you want to use your Camera app which solved my problem.

for RE 15 or 17, can i buy it without optical? just need caddy..

RE-15 and 17 already have two SATA HDD bays, therefore they don't have caddy.

in terms of heat management, which 1 is better? re15 or 17? lets say switched on 24 hrs at room temp.

Is it normal to hear buzzing sounds near the speaker on the RE-15? When I bring my ears up close, there's this high pitch buzzing sound at the speaker. And also does Illegear sell laptop sleeves? Would really like to get one from you guys.. More convenient to carry around

They have the official illegear sleeves that come with new purchased unit.
IIRC the cost of standalone sleeve is around 85

there is a recent issue of a customer with buzzing speakers, and this made the customer make a dispute towards Prince J. in the end, it was customer's location that causing the problem.

by the way, try relocate your power brick, see if it helps.
