At least they stated a possible cause ma...That engine indicator should indicate problem related to engine ma, not lamp... doh.gif

Yes, as long as i plug back the stock filament bulb the CEL is gone.

ps. Adding to the Brake Light circuits does NO harm...so far....
Me hv added F1 type LED lamp & recently 2 LED strips w/o any issues... cheers.gif

Adding load will not affect it unless reduce load.

Anyway, tmr will buy a resistor to increase the load of that lamp, hope can solve the problem.

if let say u forgot to switch off ur light, with LED brake lamp, license plate and parking lamp, u will have at least 5-7X more longer time before ur battery fully drained.

The main purpose of LED is lower power consumption, which can reduce the load of alternator.

Summary :
1. New Bendix Stealth pads working well, too...in spite of unorthodox design(like Stealth Aircraft?) & reduced surface area sumore!
Must b due2 sp materials used...like got 2 types.  biggrin.gif
2. Rear Red LED strips xtra brake lights also bright & xtra noticeable @night. Any1 who does hit my butt must hv been too damn close OR blind(?)...
