talking about Msia Customs, my bro once kena tax by them just buying a Piece of football jersey.
The baju incl shipping is around 100++ then randomly kena tax and gotta pay about RM190.

The tax is more expensive than the shirt! lol!

That's weird because I thought the Kastam will tax only if the total cost in the shipment is above certain value like RM500 if not mistaken.
But at times, even above they will not kacau.
So it seems now rather than going by procedure, it's up to your luck if you'll get taxed or not.

I think they suka suka find something to tax... they supposed to tax items over RM500 or depend on the weight.
Then I have a friend order few pieces of jerseys at the same time, cost over RM500 and he got escape from the tax.. lol...

I was fortunate to have received my Series2 minifigures set yesterday without any problem.

Jerseys mostly shipped in packs unless really a big bulk... I kena a few missing jerseys also.. lol either they whallop or the postmen..
I think it depends on their mood wan la... Kastams got mood swings terribly!

I registered and tried adding some stuff into my cart, upon checkout u can input ur Malaysian address, they calculated 0 fee for shipping

my huge box that just arrived yesterday didn't get taxed
I guess it really depends on luck, as few forumers here have said that sometimes they kena and sometimes won't.

haha yes i was called in to their desk also. and on their machine are 2 website. One is Ebay and another is Paypal.

so if u think kastam dont know about toys, think again. Just remember when they ask where this was bought, just say its non ebay transaction, and thru money tele transfer. that way its harder for them to check.

trust me they know what is hot wheels, transformers and lego, etc.
