Guys,

Just to confirm for USPS shipping:

USPS First Class Mail - no tracking & insurance right?
USPS Priority Mail - with tracking & insurance right?

Becoz i got 1 store shipped with 1st class mail got both insurance & tracking provided by the seller..

and got another 1 also shipped with 1st class mail but no tracking & insurance provided..

confuse already  rclxub.gif

USPS Priority got 2 type.

The smaller flat rate priority box, works the same with First Class, once enter Msia, wouldnt be able to track. risk of lost is high. so make sure dont opt for this if going under Priority.

1st class mail sometimes gets mixed up on some different flights, that shld explain why it gets here faster. once in a while smile.gif

but 1st Class is just too risky, not with US seller, but with local postmen. once they know u keep receiving parcels, they will do some 'hanky-panky'. because 1st class doesnt require recipient signatory and be inventorised. and they can open the package to see the contents, and reseal it back. acting like the parcel being inspected by Kastam sad.gif

Lost rate is 2-3 out of 10 packages. so u can calculate the risk.

kastam will check, and they will stamp it.

how do we prevent local postmen to 're-check' again? they can open and reseal with tapes again. we wouldnt know.

Our Kastam will stamp "di lepaskan". If Kastam open it for inspection it will be resealed with marked tape. I have experienced this only in 3 of more than 200 shipments over the last 3 years.

In my experience, it is resealed with the a kind of tape with strings in it. Just like what Amazon would use...
But so far, you really have to send it using Priority (with tracking and insurance). Airmail is too dangerous for Lego sets because of our itchy-handed Pos-man.

Agreed, for small amount of figures and small sets without box I ship using first class otherwise it is priority or express or sometimes registered. I advise not to use Priority Small Flatrate box because it is shipped like first class.

3 of 200 sets only are opened? thats very good. all my parcels are opened by kastam. or so called kastam. without official marked sealed. just normal cello tape. so we know who opens them. doh.gif

my advice try not risk using first class usps.

they dont just target Lego. Anything that holds collectible resell value, they will try to take.

Transparent parts. I think you can get the the one from STAP or the one from Ewok Glider.
