IMHO the Dynamic Duo Funhouse is the BEST among all the Batman II sets, due to its number of play features & great minifigs. The whole structure is simple yet it packs with lots of features! You MUST get it brows.gif

Thanks man. THANKS ALOT for poisoning me tongue.gif

However, my wallet is crying right now so I've got to give it a miss for now. Trying to justify that it's not part of the "Movies" theme hence I can "still" close one eye. But the collector in me is telling me otherwise.

Just calculated my expenses on LEGO alone, since end of Oct 2012 when I just started and spent close to RM 1,200 on 5 Batman sets! Got to cut down on my expensive hobbies. 1/6th figures, Blu-ray, Playstation 3 games and now, LEGO! Plus got a few more 1/6th figures on pre-order which are already out in Hong Kong so landing anytime soon. doh.gif

It's like I've taken the RED PILL from The Matrix and going deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole....... you people are a dangerous crowd ....... biggrin.gif

These are all the LEGO I have. I'm sure all of you have the complete set, plus much more! My collection is nothing compared to some of yours I believe.

I've got a Jedi Starfighter someone in my store room. Yellow ship that comes with Anakin Skywalker.......

I know for sure this is a Batman fan!
Don't worry... RM1,200 is a small sum to pay.
Because currently, Lego sets are the only toys that will appreciate in value given time.

more like u r trying to poison him laugh.gif

curious...
so u r buying stuff online, let's say the seller got more 1000 successful transaction/good feedback (over the years)
some how this year (today only 12th day of 2013, i know), there is 3 negative feedback (from ~90 transactions in 2013, crazy number, i know)

3/90 = 3.33% (for those who like maths laugh.gif )

will it affect ur confidence to buy from this seller?

Oops!! It's d 2012 version, saw it in Parkson and the dark side said nice set plus many minifigures. Paying price RM700. Is it worth? I'm clueless as of the price against the set.

As for question 4? very much into getting the minifigures and at later stage might sell the set. I'm not sure is there demand on the set?

Thanks!!

i think showing them ur bonus link card will entitle u for 10%. but better let other bro here comment on that.

i think is a good way to start your collection by getting from parkson
if u dont mind, pls check the forum sales thread, might have the set u want at a cheaper price.

sorry, going out now, will try to find for u later (but better for u to search around for best price from our member here)

Actually, I've read about LEGO appreciating over time (from this thread) but what determines it? Supply vs demand?

Cause if that's the case, collecting 1/6th figures will also appreciate. Unless 1/6th figures are not considered the toys you're referring to.

Of course it depends on supply & demand and scarcity of goods. It is because Lego sets usually has a production cycle of no more than 3 years (there are exceptions). So once it is out of production, the value of the set goes up.
However, there are, again, exceptions to the rule but generally, popular themes like SW, DC, Ninjago, POTC... these are your best bet!

Case in point, all the Ninjago Element Dragons, like Earth Dragon, Ice Dragon, Lightning Dragon and the Fire Temple (Fire Dragon), shot up in value (200~300%) because TLG only were produced them for 1 year. So all the remaining MISB sets are now worth lots of money. Lightning Dragon used to be USD29.99, now it's going for around USD130~150. smile.gif
