I am living in a kampung where the Maxis tower is far away and no 3g signal detected, can this E398 solve this issue?

But if using B932 and B660 I can get wcdma,hsdpa and hspa but most of the time is wcdma which is not very satisfied reception. So I hope E398 can do better.

mdma cannot detect E398. Any advise blacky?

refering to back of the modem box, 900mhz is not supported.
i got no maxis 3g signal on at my area, 2g full signal thou. Testing using celcom i got full signal on 3g and 2g. i suspect maxis at my area run on 900mhz spectrum, celcom 900mhz+2100mhz. my older e173 get 3g full/half bar on both isp. So if you think that you live in an area only have 900mhz coverage, by all means, dont get this modem. now i only use it with my celcom, latency decrease from 120+ to 60+.
