WCDMA ALL means modem will choose 900 or 2100 depends on the modem's "mood"

If you dont want jumping, select LTE1800 WCDMA 850/2100 then modem will either LTE 1800 or 2100, I recommend this

Can i know whats the difference between yours with others ? some u398 only supports 2600 while yours support 1800? Which frequency is the best?
*
Not which frequency is the best. When you buying a modem, be sure to buy a modem that support all frequency you need to use.

Maxis is running on 2600Mhz and 1800Mhz. Not every places is running dual band, some place only single band

If you go to a place that only have 1800Mhz and your modem is not capable of 1800Mhz you also wont detect the LTE at all wink.gif

bro, when you say change the frequency, do you mean changing them with MDMA apps?  I am connecting the modem with 3420v1.2
*
When you change on MDMA, it will be saved on the modem.

MR3420 V1.2 don't support LTE sad.gif

So it is recommended to use a Y cable for this?
*
Unless your USB port is really really bad, it's really pointless.

You won't see a significant boost or etc if your USB is okay wink.gif

Mostly slow cases are due to congestion

guys, i've updated my e398 modem to the latest firmware as above like what blacktubi has suggested like above. but now the modem cant seem to get connected to the net althought my router mr3420 v2 has already successfully detect it.

mr 3420 using  :
Firmware Version: 3.13.27 Build 120905 Rel.73281n

how about you all guys, have u experienced the same problem?
*
Can you plug your E398 to the computer and connect to the internet while connect to the TP-LINK MR3420 using LAN

Then, PM me your Teamviewver ID, I help you to check + optimize

This is a bit late, but I am another super happy customer. This thing's signal sucking is kinda scary, I can get constant >5Mbps now, unlike my previous MF680. Also, I get >1MBps when I DL. Super nice, and thanks to @Blacktubi! biggrin.gif
*
No problem bro, glad to see E398 work ridiculously well for you biggrin.gif

Enjoy your new modem tongue.gif
