Dont think you will s ee a huge difference in temp drop even you changed a new casing. Plus I think it is common for the temperature to reach that high for GPU.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon...rk,3207-10.html

Changing to another PSU is really optional, you wont get alot of extra wattage going from 550w to 620w.
Better saves the money, not worth the upgrade.
*
+1, The Shinobi should be adequate for cooling and the 7950 is ok at that temp, I also think that the room temp is the main culprit of most people, not the chassis or the PSU

I noob in pc my friend suggest me this

Gb 277m-d3h
Kingston 4gb x2 hyper x
I5 3570k
Samsung 23" led
Sapphire hd7850 2gb gddr5 oc
Psu 550w cm bronze
Wd green 1tb
Silencio 550/ cm elite 311

Price and suggestion Please. Any cheaper and better led monitor?
*
save some $$$ by lowering some parts

1) CPU - go for the i5 3470 will be sufficient
2) RAM - go for Value RAM 4GB x2 - no noticeable difference in performance
3) Motherboard - can get the B75 chipset, recommend the MSI B75MA-G43
4) PSU - Don't go for CM brand to be safe, go for FSP, Seasoonic, Corsair, Silverstone and at least 500W
5) HDD - Go for the WD Blue 1TB instead of green

Bro, I want to run Skyrim on very high settings but not in 21' screen. only 20 inches...i want use FX 6200 but wanna know whether 7870 very good at it.
*
21" is the physical size, you need to check the resolution of the monitor

but if its the HD7870, it should be able to run Skyrim at High settings

No speakers in your build? sweat.gif unline those pre-fab pcs, you'd need to purchase them speakers separately and plug in

I wouldn't worry too much, PC components nowadays will shut itself down if it overheats.. but what makes you think that your PC is running hot?? might wanna post a HWmonitor screenshot for us to see?

alright.. so how much cost for Seasonic S12 II 620W (w/o Leadtek GTX670 2GB because he target for asus GPU)
*
RM299 in Viewnet

Asus components are normally overpriced for the same or slightly better performance but if your friend likes the design then still no harm going for it

just a little better, you really should ask the shop to change the mobo to a b75 chipset and get at least a HD7850 cause your display is 1080p

WOW. So fast the response. Hmm, wondering if it's better to DIY or get the pros to do it. I can already see it coming together.

Any recommendations on DIY? If not any recommendations for companies who build custom pc? (APES or Cyntrix for example)
*
you could DIY but those 2 companies you mentioned will be very glad to have your business as well

QUOTE(johann92 @ Mar 5 2013, 03:06 PM)
True. But how much savings are we talking? Like if i DIY by myself.

I don't mind learning about cable management and all. But when it comes to the water cooling, I plan to have a custom water cooling for my GC and probably have some colour themes with it complete with led lights and all that.

So I'd have to go to get it done there as well.

If the cost savings is not much I'd probably do it there. If it is significant then I might consider DIY.

BTW, a sound card isn't necessary right? Considering the MOBO and the fact that I don't plan to be playing with sounds like a sound engineer. Not much diff for the price?
*
IINM they don't charge for assembling cause you buy all the components with them and buying a whole system entitles you to discounts.. how much? IDK.. its up to your haggling skills.. but you could give it a try for more discounts by stressing that you wanna DIY... who knows right ? tongue.gif

What if SLi?

2x SSD + 3x HDD

850W can?
*
should be more than sufficient, though most of us will recommend that you stick with a single powerful card.. unless you're looking at doing eyefinity or 3d surround then it's worth considering multi-Gpu setups

in ur opinion is it good for me to spend extra cash on performance ram?bcoz i want very high fps in game..as for ssd i heard rumor that using ssd wont increase fps..sry if my question too dumb..noobies here >.<
*
No, stick to Value RAM, SSD is only good for loading speed if you have the game installed in it.. other than that, you won't have performance boost.. focus your $$$ on GPU and CPU is better

QUOTE(zylow @ Mar 30 2013, 11:48 AM)
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm thinking of reducing the cost a bit, probably choosing a 500GB hard disk over a 1TB. A friend suggested that I should add more aftermarket fans and thermal paste, is it necessary? Thanks again.

PS: I'm also concerned of how long can this rig last? And if it has space on the motherboard for upgrading in the future? How will it fare with next-gen gaming? Sorry I have a lot of questions haha.
*
a 500GB HDD will be just as good, adding one in the future will be an easy feat so go for it. More fans = more noise, best is to see how the heat buildup is first before adding more fan.. chances are that you will not need these extra fans so soon unless you're planning to OC right of the batt

the rig will work for a long time, depending on what you're planning to do with it determines the usefulness as time goes.. if it's just for word processing or spreadsheets then even 10 years is easy but for gaming maybe you'd have to upgrade the GPU in another 2-3 years... escept your hardware fails on you.. but thats another story

sorry bro, wan to ask again, if i install ssd instead of hdd first, can i install the hdd later ? mean need to re-format again the whole windows or not?
n wat is the best value ssd for 120gb? thq very much.n sorry for asking again. notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
adding a storage drive will not require you to reformat windows, so yes, you could get the SSD 1st if storage is not your primary concern

Most of us will recommend the Intel SSD

Intel i3-3220 - 352
kingston 4gb ram - 90
wd 500gb harddisk - 195
asus b75m-lx plus - 250
cooler master elite 361 - 109
samsung dvd writer - 55
acbel 550w power supply - 169
sapphire hd7770 1gb ddr5 - 359

Total RM1579

Looks about ok to me.. wink.gif

just some tips:
1-change the dvdrw to other brand instead of Samsung
2-change the PSU to FSP Hexa or Gigabyte Powerock 500W for RM149
3-get a better chassis with better airflow (same price) like the CM Elite 344 or 342 or the Xigmatek Helios
