Xbox 360 version just out in US!! Ubisoft have confirmed that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter will appear on the PC in May 2006. They have also issued a short Q/A statement about the delay......ghostrecon.net

Woowee, the GRAW from Play Asia comes with a nice GRAW strap....not a handphone strap mind you, but a nice big one....I think for a bag or something
The game itself is amazing.....easily some of the best graphics on 360, on par with DOA4, sometimes even better. Although the glitches are quite clearly there, especially your teammates that can sometimes popup. Overall, still a very nice game  |

Yeah man we kept getting capped with ppl sneaking up behind us and shooting us in the bag. Damn the drone is so important... I also need to try the campaign mode and see the bugs for myself.

Seems GRAW have a major bugs...where my character is lying on the floor and I'm able to levitate him as he is floating around when move the analog up:shock:.
Has anyone experienced any of the bugs in GRAW? |

Ummm.. if the game says need to update.. then just press the A button and update.. Of course it might just be the March update is on the disc itself and even you're not connected to live it'll also ask you to update.

Straight from the horse's mouth, the suppliers have already shipped the GRAW stocks to local stores in Sg.Wang, Imbi and Midvalley today. They will be available from places like TNL in Imbi after 12 this afternoon. These are GRAW Asian version and priced between RM170-190, if my source is correct on the figure. GRAW Asian versoin is region free and will work on all 360 machines, this based from the info from Play-Asia.
I can only imagine the rush this will be when people find out about this! |

Very long story, basically her attituide and the way she treats customers. I really hate it and a few others also have felt it before.
The main thing that ticked me off was one time I was trying to book a game with her, then in the end I decided not to and she goes and say "Go ahead, I got plenty of Datuk's and Datin's waiting to give me business." So ok.. I let her do business with the Datuk's and Datin's. And I hate the way she talks about the consoles like how she know's everything. Telling the customer "Yar, PS3 coming out soon lar, don't know why Sony keep delaying don't give me business when everyone asking." I hate that attituide. You don't know say you don't know. |

This game requires a lot of players to play coz the maps are huge. The map corresponds to the coverage each team members can sweep, hence why it so huge. Playing 2 vs two on a map that can fit 8 players can be a bit time consuming and intimidating.
I suggest we get lots of players online and then decide the teams. Otherwise, it's just solo eliminations , or the co-op modes. |

Well, at least u guys have Streamyx. Mine went down again on Sunday just before going to the gathering at 1U. I already have my GRAW and Burnout Revenge but didn't really feel like playing them. Somehow, playing without being connected to XBOX LIVE is just different. Ok..hopefully those ppl at TMNUT fix it today so I can GRAW with u guys tonight.

I only finished the first one woh..I think i'm on the one where i have to go rescue a fella that was spotted by then handphone dude.
Too many buttons to press.. Oh yeah, how do i exit out of that scope. The only way i could get out was to keep pressing the R stick. 2 times i think..must zoom all the way in then can get out..By the time i do that, i kena shot already. to be frank this game is so fun when playing multiplayer and this game is so pissed me off when playing single player. how come all enemy just snipe me only while my teammates are ok. and it is so easy to die just few hits. and my teammate cant heal me while im hit and die straight.

That's the problem, you're playing GRAW like a normal action FPS, such as Halo 2 or HL2. GRAW is a tactical shooter, thus it's more like a simulation you must use all your equipment properly such as the drone, smoke grenades, etc. etc. and have proper planing on your plan of attack just running into the enemies is death for sure!

I have a question. When playing multiplayer..can we "shoot" our own teammates? Lets say i cannot tahan yoroi for being stooopid, can i gun him down?

got la, jaylike7 started a session at around 8 something. my first MP session, had alot of fun. played with welwitchia, dreamyghost, ronanspy, stringfellow and babyhuns. privatejohn joined us for a while. i left the game at around 10 for makan, nobody playing MP anymore when i got back, sigh

Best moment was when I killed cerebral, dreamy and insecure in one shot....too bad jaylike wasn't there, else I might've gotten my deadly achievement Funniest moment....in the same game, I had a shot on jaylike, who didn't notice I was behind him. Then when I pressed the trigger, xboxnerd passed by in front of me and got killed instead, whilst jaylike managed to get away |

Single player is not that hard. Just remember that the game is not linear, so if you keep getting killed going on one path, then try another path. If going in guns blazing doesn't work, then stealth is your best bet. And always remember, crouching behind cover is your best friend.
League would be nice, but it has to be team league. Single league won't be as exciting, it'd be just like normal Halo 2. But then again team league got its own problems with disconnecting people...... It seems that 4 on 4 is a good number though, less chances of getting kicked out.... i think 3vs3 would be the best. not too much ppl in a map, no lack and would have equal skill to 'show off'. if a team at least got 2 pro in, then the other team will be suffer a lot.....

Just go over their forum, post up to challenge them for a 'friendly' match. Beware though..some player very kiasu one, like Blizzard5050...haha
Anyway..gd luck to malaysia team. Do take note in the lobby, choose your ideal class. If you want to use Rifle...choose rifle class, if wana sniper..choose sniper class. If you don't..there is this penalty. Like you using grenadier class but pick up Sniper rifle...your accuracy etc will drop. ...or can just ask arj to do it. Co-op Mission Note
For Co-op missions, best to limit it to just 4 players. Anything more than that ppl will drop for sure at the start. 4 players just nice actually, can split into 2 teams. Get at least one or two support specialist. Bring at least one LMG. Snipers optional but IMO LMGs are more versatile. You can use them up close yet they have the range to tap someone from far altough they don't have any scope. If you only have rifleman grab the SCAR-H. Put it on single-shot and you have a multipurpose longrifle. It's heavy enough (7.62mm) for single shot kills. But this rifle take forever to stabilise though. Last night's co-op was great. Good communications and teamwork. 2nd co-op mission is harder. I tried going solo, always kena ambush while reloading. This post has been edited by MK84: Mar 24 2006, 02:55 PM |

Somehow I don't think think TMNUT is at fault...I mean we've played more than 12 people Halo before with no kickouts (although a bit laggy). It might be the game itself.
Yesterday we managed to play 6 people co-op no problem. I think hosts should set a limit for co-op games, only up to 6 people or so. Solo elimination weirdly enough, seems able to support more than 10 players without any kickouts. |

Yeah, last night was a blast!! Two missions completed!! It was unfortunate with the Temple level though, so close...I think we need to recon that level properly, I think a few of us died being shot by enemies we never detected. I know I did
Now we need to figure out how to destroy those tanks in the Treasury map....grenades don't seem to work.... Jaylike has to be the most unluckiest guy in GRAW....he keeps getting killed by his own teammates, I know I shot him at least twice, and I think MK got him once |

In Treasury someone has to be the Grenadier and bring the almighty ZEUS (cousin to SPNKR).
Also I think those .50 cal longrifles can shoot thru walls. Should've used it in Wharf last night. |

10-player co-op doesn't work. Not until TMNut introduces the 10MB line (read today's Star).

i was having the cant connect to server error after been invited so many times by everyone. tried shutdown and restart everything including my pc and the router and still the same error. got tired of that stupid error so just play outfit.

Don't give up bro. We all kena that all the time. Just a matter of who's lucky and who's not on any given night. Keep trying and keep your internet line free of other stuff. Also, try not to plug in the headset while u're trying to connect. Plug it back in after the game starts - see if that helps. |

IMPORTANT INFO FOR ANYONE HOSTING GRAW

Feeling tired being kick out from the server so many bloody times, I log in to multiplayer chapter 1 alone without expecting any achievement, and it turns out that I kill 41 rebel, and completing the Chapter 1 with two achievement, Unlocking the Chapter and Unyielding for killing more than 30 rebels..... It might not be a perfect Chapter 1 achievement but what can I expect for fighting there alone.... will try to do the same thing for Chapter 2 later..

Mission 2 is abit hard to do alone. The level is not as straightforward as 1. Lots of corners where tangos can hide.

The tanks.. actually you can use the gun turrets near the tanks to destroy them. You need a grenade launcher for the truck that runs out from the treasury though.

I use my trusty ol' automatic rifle for both of em'. SAM sites takes a while (2 clips or so) but them jeep/trucks are easier.

For me .. yesterdays GRAW was awesome, finally got my Chapter 1 perfect completed achivement unlocked .. all thanks to the ppl who helps me out especially Terranova and Good Speed (from a chemical specialist become rambo

In the mission where you have to explode the 3 howitzer tanks in enemy camp, my 3 comrades huddle inside the main gate's guard post and didn't/couldn't come out .... had to complete the objectives solo !!
The "45-degree floating/flying" Capt M thingy happens to me also when I try to crawl in some scenes. |

In hard mode...it's actually about the same.
The trick is...always take cover, and whenever you shoot the enemy from your cover...don't show your face for more than 2-3 sec. So hit & cover, hit & cover. The programming is like set to...you expose for anytime longer than that....definitely you will get hit. Otherwise you will be safe. Of course you need to utilize the drone whenever possible. |

Twice a week? That's too fast. I've used Energizer batteries before, and they usually last two weeks.
Of course the best solution is to get a Play and Charge kit. I got mine Singaporean one for $33/RM70, which I think is a worthy investment compared to buying batteries often and dying during battle |

The MR-C has a nice clip loadout (50 rounds, like the P90). But at long range it's not as accurate as the M468-SD and SA-80.

I prefer Last Man Standing games.... feels a lot closer to the orignal GR and Rainbow Six. Plus ppl run and gun like they're playing Halo.

You can still join Ranked match with a friend. Just search for the exact gametype, max players, etc that the ranked match is on.

Was trying to pump up my GRAW ranking...playing gametype : Siege can be the fastest way...or slowest. If you win by capturing the point, you get 500 points, otherwise you get 0 or 1.
Rifleman~  Sniper...  Auto Rifleman...most of the time playing big map, it's hard to be support.  Grenadier? Erm...0 level. |

So there I was playing with the singaporeans in a BIG 12 player Co-Op Siege on the temple mission. So as expected it was a breeze through. Heck.. it's a 12 man army running through the jungl!
And then we reach the end the extraction chopper hovered overhead, and I thought to myself.. "What if the chopper get's destroyed?" A split second later... BOOOOMMM.. Extraction Chopper Destroyed... Mission Failed... |
