Is very normal especially if you no do balancing and alignment every 10000km. Mine XM2 also like that, production year also 2015, used about 70000km already without balancing and alignment

Front and back also the same condition.
I believe that all Michelin tyres will be in the same state after use for more than 3 years.
As i have seen it on other of their tyres too. Common issue where the rubber harden. Due to our weather.

Asked few technician, is okay to use as long as the year of usage not more than 4 or 5 years, depend dry condition.

Already change them. That is the thing with the XM2 actually. After using them for 2-3 years, our weather makes the compound harder, and then it will be prone to cracking.

That is a point of concern for me to change it quick.
Other than that no issues.

What tyre you've replaced with?

An on Bridgetone RE003, and another one on Toyo NanoEnergy3.

Damn son. How u drive? I drive mine for 60k km and the car is parked under the sun 24/7, yet this never happend.

I drove about 4 years already, maybe 80k km, the tyre also look like this because no do alignment but it is still usable even speeding or drive fast while raining

My tyres already 2 years plus with around 40k km on it. I always do rotation, balancing and alignment every 10k km also looks like this so i think it is not related. So far the grip still quite ok in dry and wet like u said.

that is normal to xm2 i guess
i also have that issue and i drive slow.. most of the time traffic crawl to work

i checked my colleague xm2 also having this issue too.. the car was mostly driven by her mom before she started to work

Ooo... weird coz that didnt happend to me...

My previous xm2 2pcs 20000km no this problem too, only current 2pcs about 80000km have this problem
Previous xm2 force to change because I park nearby a tyre shop and the staff go to cucuk my tyre , want to earn money(someone also kena, told me after this incident)

Xm2 memang got this problem one.. my previous myvi all 4 biji surface cracks like the ones in the photo..

Tried to claim warranty.. changed another 4biji xm2.. still the same cracks after 2years.. warranty one they compensate RM10 each doughnut..

This is all due to our hot climate.. the cracks are known as tyre rot.. they develop due to the rubber compounds being constantly exposed to extremes of heat and road chemicals in conjunction with uv rays, these all contribute to the cracking
