Bro nicety, thanks a lot for the clear videos illustrating, meaning Himedia player is the best?  Do you mean we need to change the playercorefactory.xml file to those codelines you listed above in order to trigger XBMC to use MX player?  What should we do with those ":" ha....

Also my problem is really the video lagging the audio, is that still related to internet bottleneck?  Cos running similar video streaming off chinese sites like funshion doesn't lag, hence shouldn't be due to bandwidth?  But then again some streams on Q5II are awesome smooth too, so probably is the problem with some of the sources that are streaming.

Which are some of the most reliable addon streams so far?
*
To edit playercorefactory.xml, you need certain knowledge of XML.

Even Fusion or other Chinese Apps are working fine that still could be internet bottleneck, there are several reasons if you understand how the Internet works:
1). Internet is a network, when you stream well from Chinese apps, it just tell you the internet route to China server is not congested, but the route to xBMC server in US could be congested during the same time.
2). Beside internet congestion, the content server is also a factor. As you mentioned some of the Chinese apps are ok while xBMC not smooth, this is because the content server using different technology. Some Chines Apps are using P2P streaming, P2P technology is similar to Bittorrent, the apps itself is smart enough to search the nearest peer to stream the data.

There are too many addon in xBMC, I could not test all but Icefilm and 1Channel is not bad. If you noticed either Icefilm or 1Channel, when you click the movies, there are couples of source for you to choose, you have to spend some effort to select the best content source.

Just follow the steps pmed to you.

Please check your Internet first, if you bottleneck is Internet then no need to change DNS. My QVOD go up to 350KB/s. Pls cross check with few QVOD web site I given to you earlier.
*
I don't have much issue with QVOD actually, just used it to watch HK drama, even lagging also few seconds only but seldom.

Main problem only with streaming Chinese/English movies thru China based apps (Youku,Funshion,PPS..) by using proxy ip (use WIfi)
and
streaming English movies thru XBMC (use Ethernet) seems also very lagging in these few days.

I'm using 5mb Unifi.

That clearer now, your QVOD is working fine because there is no Geo restriction in QVOD.

Youku, PPS, Fushion are Geo restricted apps where the proxy could be your bottleneck. You can google China proxy to get better performance proxy, but you need some time to test.

Once again as I always repeated in this thread :

1). those free streaming services including xBMC do not have guaranty of service. We have to put the effort to find the best content providers and search for the best proxy if Geo Restricted.

2). 5 Mbps or 10 Mbps Unify is only applicable within Malaysia TM network. When your streaming travel outside Malaysia, the international trunk is shared by millions of people, your effective bandwidth could be 0.5Mbps only. Of course there are thousands of international trunk depend on where is the targeted destination, not all 0.5mbps, some very fast as well.

XBMC frequently gets crashes back to the launcher screen in the middle of movie, anyone else experienced that?

Also seems not able to get the addon for 1channel, after installing the repository, then visiting "Get add-on", the list is blank unlike other repositories where one can see the "Video add-on"....hmm.

Also is there a way to delete repositories?

Agree getting from expert seller like bro nicety is a good move; very informative tips here.

Sure, my customers always have different priority. Just PM to you.

The solution only help if TM throttle your internet. If the root cause come from the content server or international trunk bottleneck then it will not help. xBMC online streaming is free, you need some effort to search for good content providers. There are hundreds of different content providers, you need to search for it. Alternatively, you can try the XBMC paid service as recommended by @Xnet
http://www.ntv.mx/?c=2&a=0&p=52

Regarding the Netflix, it is important to get the right Netflix reseller as they knew better than me.

As mentioned earlier, QVOD is not Geo Restricted, no need to do region bypass. In case throttled by local ISP then you may applied public DNS. Just Google Public DNS for detail.

For the rest of the Geo Restricted Apps, you need the proxy to bypass the restriction.

Bro, still not manage to root Q5II yet.

You cannot stream from Samba shared folder? Samba client is build in Q5II as well as the samba daemon available in Q5II.

Bro, maybe you have confused between AirPlay receiver and AirPlay client. Let us share how the Air play works here.

Q5II or Apple TV are just AirPlay receiver, they do not control your iPad or iPhone. To mirror your iPad screen to Q5II, you are using the original AirPlay client(sender), no need to install any app in iPad. To answer your question whether you can play game while AirPlay, this depend on the AirPlay Sender. It is independent the receiver is Apple TV or Q5II.

I presumed OSX already preinstalled with AirPlayer Sender, just connect to the AirPlay receiver once you detected by your OSX.

Beside Apple device, any AV device come with AirPlay sender could just mirror to Q5II.

Thanks bro for the prompt response.

I'm interested with the box, but i need a confirmation on this. When i mention full mirror, i'm expecting something like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1zX-D5VN8o

Is this can be done?

Because,when i read Himedia Q5 review http://www.squidoo.com/himedia-q5-android-...a-player-review it mention :

HiShare and AirPlay

"With the HiShare app and AirPlay, you can share video, audio and photo files from an Android or iOS device to the HiMedia Q5 wirelessly and instantly. All you have to do is start the HiShare app or AirPlay and select the media file that you want to share and it will play back from the TV. However, it does not have the screen mirroring feature that AppleTV does."

I'm not sure with Himedia Q5II.

Could you please enlighten me.

Thx,
TSnicety

Ok, you mean Samba client in xBMC.

Don't put too much effort in xBMC, the native Himedia media is capable to do samba and nfs including resume movies if you half way watching.

We have tested some samba client unable to resume MKV movies but Himedia native no problem.

Ok, I got wat you mean now. You can air play the photo, video and music as below YouTube but not AirPlay your iPad home screen. Personally, I use IOS for my iphone and iPad but I will not use Apple TV for my entertainment tools because I need the flexibility to watch movies due to lack of content in Malaysia.

laugh.gif its quite fun for me..

I have a general idea how himedia video player is able to play samba file. Following their way, I am able to play any file using Himedia player without using their "Samba" interface... with this, i can now link my xbmc to my NAS and get play back using himedia player (also works for mxplayer). Both mxplayer and himedia player can now play my samba share without a problem.

Previously, it only works for local playback.

But currently its not perfect yet, without root, I need to perform one additional step everytime i boot up my himedia...
