QUOTE(BGOOD @ Oct 31 2013, 01:55 AM) Hi, wanna ask how to add subtitle for movies listed in XBMC? It seems that all the movies there are without subtitle. I presumed you are refer to online streaming in the xBMC addon, this depend in the content provider. We could not add in the sub title like what we did for local movies file. However, technically this is possible, maybe someone will develop such service in XBMC in the future merely to stream sub title on top of video streaming. |

QUOTE(taithinye @ Oct 31 2013, 11:26 AM) TVB is controlled TV channels in Malaysia. If you want the to watch live, you can subscribe to cloudy TV which is paid service. For free apps, need to wait for next day. |

I am very curious about the HiMedia Q5 II. It seems to be a very competent media player. However, I have a few questions.
I've seen claims that it can play Blu-ray movies. Does it mean that HiMedia Q5 II can play region coded Bluray/DVD Discs if I plug in a BD-ROM via e-SATA? If not, can you explain exactly what that means? If I plug an external disk to HiMedia Q5 II via e-SATA or USB, can I easily share it on my home network, ie use it as a NAS? If so, is it accessable from Windows computers? |

QUOTE(Deken @ Oct 31 2013, 05:47 PM) I am very curious about the HiMedia Q5 II. It seems to be a very competent media player. However, I have a few questions. Please correct me I am wrong. The region code restriction is depend on the DVD Disc and the player. If the player is region code free then any region coded disc could be play. If you download BD ISO from internet, most are region code free media file.I've seen claims that it can play Blu-ray movies. Does it mean that HiMedia Q5 II can play region coded Bluray/DVD Discs if I plug in a BD-ROM via e-SATA? If not, can you explain exactly what that means? You can share the HDD in Q5II via SAMBA to your windows computer. P/S : Q5II come with normal SATA port not eSATA. ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by nicety: Oct 31 2013, 10:18 PM |
