Temporary save into flash memory and copy to your hard drive later. Since Q16 has plenty of free flash memory, not a problem for Q16.

Can you recommend me a media player that is able to run XBMC without always crashing.
Please PM me your best price + air mouse/keyboard shipping to Selangor.

Q16 quad core work perfectly with Kodi 14.1 (just in case you don't know, xBMC rename to Kodi after version 14).

Hi nicety, between Q16 and Minix X8H+ which would you recommend? i'm using for playing movies from home nas (via xbmc), home video (in avchd format which i need dolby ac3 decoding preferably hardware), some streaming from internet.

i'm currently using Q5 quad, i like it a lot but it runs very hot every time (you can't put your hand there for more than few seconds), is Q16 similar? would it be a problem in long run?

Thanks!

If you read my thread, I have explained this since Q5 single core first generation. Android player is fanless device which use the casing as heat sink. By design, the casing is use to release CPU heat such that the player could run Long period. This design since Q5 first generation 3 years ago, my Q5 first generation still running well until today.

Q5 and Q16 are same design, except Q16 has larger flash memory 16GB.

Minix X8H plus differentiation is it has XBMC minix edition, but the price is much expensive. Personally, I would say both Minix and Himedia has its strength. If you look for wider codec support then Q16. If you look for mainly XBMC then X8H plus.

Dear customers,

Small tip for you if you are not aware about this. Long press HOME button on your remote control for few seconds, you will see the below screen :

user posted image

The screen serve two functions :

1). Press the clean up button will force close the apps still open in order to claim back the memory.
2). Press the left right button on your remote control, switch between the apps that were open earlier.

Thank you inquiry. H8 is the entry level Android player, the cheapest we have. There is promo price, pls check the thread.

We do not sell iptv service because of legality, however you could self subscribe the service online easily.
