btw, Nicety did you find some way to stop these xbmc crashes... It crashed 5times watching a movie from mashup...

Noticed mainly crash at Mashup, pls clear the cache and try again.

my wireless is not good enough I guess, cuz the 1080p movie was sluggish.

I think, I need to bring the himedia and laptop both on ASUS router, instead of the default DSL router. LAN is not an option....

Full HD 1080p movies required 40Mbps bitrate to stream.

A good 802.11n wifi router should be sufficient. But there are many low end wifi router unable to meet that. You can verify by using Lan cable for both PC and Android box.

Steps I performed so far, to get rid of the xbmc crash problem.

I uninstalled 12.2
Installed stable 13.0 = Everything was crashing.
Installed 12.3, so far the issue is okay, i.e. less crashing than 12.2.

For those still experience xbmc crash, this is what i do now

Every time i start the q5ii i will go the the setting > apps and close the HiChannel and Multiscreensaver.

This seems to solve the problem.

CCTV10 is bundled in Live TV and Mango TV. The different of MangoTV is it is allow to back date 7 days programmes. There are 200++ china tv channels, we could not list all the channels. Just pm me the channels that you interested.

1). Goto Settings -> Apps -> Running -> HiChannel -> Stop
2). Goto Settings -> Apps -> Running -> MultiScreenServer -> Stop
3). Start XBMC as normal and play the addon movie

Planning to get one of it if it could channel most of Astro Channel.

-Discovery Channel- can list how many of same channel u provide
-Live sport ( weekly premier league, World Cup, Badm)
- HBO & most eng movie- can list how many of same channel u provide
-Astro channel like AEC,
-Malaysia TV like NTV7 or Channel 8
- AXN- can list how many of same channel u provide

As mentioned in the thread, this is not IPTV or replace Astro but new home media center to serve different purpose :

1). Play media files MP4, MKV, RMVB and etc with full HD resolution and high quality audio codec, 5.1 or 7.1 channel.

2). Transform your TV became Smart TV to browse Internet or email.

3). Works similarly as Android phone, down load and play Android Apps or Android Games.

4). Airplay the music from iPhone or iPad to your sound system(Hifi/AV receiver)

5). Share files with PC or vice versa.

6). Online streaming movies and dramas such as QVOD & PPTV.

If your purpose none of the above but purely watch online TV then you need to subscribe to cloudtv to watch TV channels. Pls do not get me wrong, we always tell the truth to customer to ensure the right expectation.

What the price to subscribe? One time or monthly?

Still keen to get one as there are additional features given by the box.

Who needs HBO when uyou have latest movies in HD, 1080 and even 3d in XBMC
Find live streaming channels in XBMC
No locl channel unless using apps like tonton
Full of news channel in player and xbmc
