hi, can i watch live channel with this tv box??

Yes, the build in live TV are mainly China TV program. To watch English Channels you need xBMC. However, to be noted those free service do not guarantee the service availability.
If you main watch dramas then there are plenty of apps to watch included Hong kong TVB dramas and English dramas.

any idea why the q5II is showing a max speed of only 150mbps?

installed xbmc and try to run a 1080p video from usb it's lagging like hell. while using the default media player have no problem. anyone facing same problem?

when i go to settings and click on my wireless, the speed I'm getting is only 150mbps. Should it be 300mbps?

Similarly you do not get 1000Mbps on Gigabit port of your PC because there are dependent factors between the two end points.

How bout discovery channel , Taiwan entertainment and kids channel ?

Sorry bro, I have to be honest that there is no free Discovery Channel, NatGeo. If this is your key requirement then you have to the CloudTV service which monthly subscription is USD5.

it's good as it is playing via media center, all perfect.

actually, there is... limited and temperamental...

the free contents in cloudtv change all the time. discovery hd world is usually there - good, i like it. other discovery channels, none.

natgeo people hd, nat geo music hd... sometimes get, sometimes not there. free ma...

but yes, agree with u... just pay a bit, get all the goodies... cheap for now...

I recently bought the Q5 II eMMC 1.0.5 and having issues with XBMC 12.3 Frodo constantly crashing.

I have dumped the log file via debug mode but cant see anything suspicious/pattern. Randomly crashes when playing local movie and/or streaming tv/movie via addons.

Can anyone please help me?

Hi Bro, please use the native HImedia player. You can start from Media Center at the home screen. Please do not use 3rd party player.

Something like iPhone when u browsing for movie and song. They have the album cover.
Cause some movie download never watch. If got movie poster is kinda better when searching for movie to watch.

Sorry bro, the album cover not available in the native player. Himedia is more focus on the audio\video decoding instead if the cosmetic due to limited resources.
