what brand and how much are they? why are they called "servicable"? are they gas filled or oil filled? will they make the car harsher or cushier?  hmm.gif

btw, thanks for ur reply... wink.gif

these are gas shocks. they are soft when u want it and hard when it matters brows.gif we only use premium oil seals from japan, stainless steel shims from germany & racing suspension oil. these shocks are custom made to my specs. why are they called servicable? becos they are! u will never have to buy another set of shocks again after using these ones. a set of 4 pcs will set u back rm800.00

QUOTE(Sitting Duck @ Jun 4 2007, 04:47 PM)
Hi All,

I'm thinking of buying zenden stabilizer bar front and rear from one of the forumer here that is selling it. So, anyone of waja owner here using stabilizer bar for their waja?? The reasons why I want to install the stabilizer bar are:

1) I just change my absorbers to monroe absorbers and the car is more bumpy after changing the absorbers. My mechanic say is normal because monroe absorbers are harder and that's y is bumpier.

2) For the past few months I feel that it's abit hard to control the car steering.. I did alignment but still no use.. at first I thought it's because the absorbers are not good, and that's why I change it.. after changing the absorbers.. still the same..

Any waja owner kind enough to give me some suggestion whether installing the stabilizer would solve my problem and kind to share they experience installing stabilizer bars.. pro and cons?

Btw, stabilizer bar would not lower down my car right? I dont want my car to be lowered. And would installing a stabilizer bar increase the fuel consumption of the car since that it's heavier now and more pressure to the tyres?

Thank you for those willing to share their experience... Many Thanks

if u're free next week, give me a call and i'll see what i can do for u.

thanks for the info.. errr..but what is the use of making the chasis harder?? less impact during accident?

I read in this website:

http://my-acoustic.com/Car/handling_secret...bilizer_bar.htm

that after installing the rear stabilizer bar, the car is not so bumpy anymore:

quote " After driving around 1km from the workshop, it is immediately felt that the rear is not as bumpy as before."

Lower back one that you refering to is the one below the car like what the website car owner have installed?
Thanks but mind to give me your phone number and the location of your garage ah??

I'm thinking to buy insurance for my Waja's windscreen (if that is what they call for the glasses)

How much is the usual amount? The insurance agent doesn't know how much is it
*

ok if half cut ? how much ? if new engine how much ?
*
have not seen any waja half cuts yet, but the engine kosong will set u back about rm2.5k. the thing about these engine kosong is that there is almost no way to tell if it's in good shape. why not transplant a mivec into the waja? i know it'll cost more, but at least u stand a better chance of getting a better condition engine.

But can u still get jpj to approve if u transplant a mivec engine in it?
*
why not? u can also get approval if u install a 4g93t........

..

drop in air filter is better.

the crank pulley, i can assure u, it's really good.

exhaust system just leave it standard

voltage stabilizer, don't waste time. just get the car properly grounded.

brake pads, 550 degree pads more than enuf for your car

brake hoses, don't waste money

suspension set-up, i've got heavy duty servicable shocks, a good bet if u wanna keep the height standard

bars? those are to keep convicts in jail, not to put in your car doh.gif

if u wanna go for more power, a fast road spec camshaft will be good, too thumbup.gif

at last my mom's waja auto 1.6 silver color bought on august 2002 has finish paid to the bank already.

now she thinks of giving the car some fresh new look and giving it some power. (this includes repaint as well)

what do u guys recommend? brows.gif please bear in mind it's an auto sad.gif

right now im thinking:
-port and polish
-potong head (issit custom gapping in english? )
-change exhaust system to custom ones, piping around 1.8"~2.0", 4-2-1 extractor,S-flow piping
-add bodykit
-paint the car purple

ok?
*
porting, if done correctly, is a good way to get more power.

potong head? brows.gif whose? the engine's? don't do that unless it's absolutely necessary, becos when the job is not done correctly, the compression will get too high and u will experience overheating problems.

as for exhaust, 1.8 inch more than enuf.
