U can repair it at sc.i just repair mine last week.they change the sims slots + labour charge rm50.50.

Yes,mine is sme,but expired 1yr warranty adi.sim slot damaged due to use microsim adapter.as advice by them,never use the adapter.
Think ap set they fix too,as long u pay for cost.but lowyat sc renovation,they move to near acer sc lot.so need bout 7-10days to fix as they say need send to other sc repair.

i try to update my 7.7 to JB OTA.
its downloading the files and when installing got some error and it asked to use KIES to upgrade.
i've downloaded KIES but my tab cannot get connected.
any of you have this problem?

Didn't do a factory reset cos didn't want to have to reinstall all my apps.
Tried using back my older tm riger modem n it works immediately !!!
Strange that it just doesn't want to work with my Dlink modem anymore no matter what I reconfigure new ssid new encryption new password etc.

upgraded to jb via otr, 2 major problem...cannot connect to secured wifi & explorer sometimes force stop/close...should i send to samsung service centre to reinstall jb?

I bought back a used tab7.7 for rm900 to test out the new JB rom. Was expecting some issues especially on wifi based on feedbacks here . I am pleasantly surprised at the improvements in JB n overall slicker n smoother than before. Absolutely zero wifi issues n have tested it too at several wifi hotspots in town. I rooted n install CWM on it in the day one I got it
Two days on it already n yet to find any serious significant bugs in the JB rom. Battery life seems better than before too.

Having used several other tablets after selling off my previous 7.7 the super amoled was indeed "ugly" n colors unrealistic compared with say Nexus7, Fonepad , ipad mini. Even my wife Note 10.1 colors doesn't look so fake
Anyway color display is personal preference

i dint root my tab 7.7 b4 but recently update to lastest jb 4.1.2. i thought got split screen / multitasking? how come dun hav tis feature? any1? s3 such of screen small able split but tis 1 dun hav?

.. since the 4.1.2 upgrade the 7.7 uses alot of RAM .. .
just curious is there and upgrade RAM option for this model ..
of cache setting to free some ram .. 

Anyone here had experience of this tablet unable to switch on? I already try to by pass the bootloader but still unable to do so.

The story are as follow;
Last month my original tab 7.7 charger spoilt. Then I bought replacement at local shop which is an imitation charger with samsung logo (I have no choice). This charger charged very slow compare to original and works 'till last Friday.
Last Friday I connect the charger while it was at 45% capacity  (I didn't turn off the tablet)  and after 2 hours I checked the battery gauge but the phone was already turned off by itself. I try to power it on but failed,

So far the possible solution (from various sources) that I tried were:

1. Tried with different charger from tab 7.7, Note 2, s3 but all are not charging. I let it connected overnight and the charger are not warm at all.

2. Holding power button for more than 15 second (tried many combination with up & down button)-Nothing happens
So I'm almost certain this is a hardware failure but I'm not sure which is. Any suggestion?

Thanks, the imitation was my first purchase of non-ori charger as by the I was outstation and no shop selling the ori charger. I just want to place my order for ori note 2 charger from a seller here at low yat forum. But then its already too late. Is there any known method to verify that the battery was the fault in this case?

help! my micro simcard stuck!! anyone can help? how to get it out?

just an update. went to SC in PJ. got it done within a day. they removed the simcard. labour RM20.
good service the PJ branch.

lesson learnt.
