dun bother, those are all alpha build with loads of problem, not recommended for daily use. Not going to touch that after having many problem with all the JB custom rom. Will stick with ICS ROM, currently on CleanROM.

if not in a hurry, you should wait for the rumour Note 7 inches. Next week is CES, hopefully there is some news about it.

nobody know, i am just being hopeful. It might be announced next month MWC, it is anyone guess. Or it might not materialise at the end. But Tab 7.7 is really aging now, not worth to get already. Samsung definitely having something to replace it under their sleeve.

you are using a card reader? If yes, then it is not microSDXC compatible and most likely you have corrupted the card. Use Easeus Partition Master to format it with a microSDXC compatible card reader. Or put it into a phone that support 64gb card like the Note II or S3 to format it.

i will be contended with JB in my Tab 7.7. Actually I find ICS is really good enough, but just wondering how much smoother if JellyBean is installed in Tab 7.7. Dun ask me try custom JB rom - tried but none is bug-free, stick to ICS at the moment.

btw, anyone try using a exFAT 64GB microSD card in it? Just wondering after updated to JB, can it support exFAT now.

my only wishlist for custom rom is the custom init.d file so that we can use the swap memory script like the S3 and Note II. After getting a 32GB Nexus 7 and using a 64GB Note II (after swapping memory), 16GB on the Tab 7.7 really feel so little especially after deducting those system files, only left around 13GB usable only.

update: try insert a new exFAT Sandisk 64GB microSD into the Tab 7.7 with JB. Unfortunately it still cannot support exFAT. Still need to format it into FAT32 before you can use a 64GB in it.

of course official JB is way much better.

best to do factory reset after major system update. Try factory reset.

my sim card slot is spoilt also due to similar problem. But since i am using it as a wifi only device, no issue for me. It does affect the resell value but i think i will keep this for good since the JB is official out now. Using more of it than the Nexus 7 for the pass few days.

btw, anyone replace their battery? Thinking of getting a spare replacement battery ready. Wanted to get a replacement battery for my antique HTC Desire but its battery EOL.

wanted to "upgrade" to Note 8.0 too but after knowing its screen not full HD and not AMOLED, change my mind.
