QUOTE(grazy @ Dec 18 2012, 05:12 PM) Guys... checkout the XDA forum, Locerra giving us a pre-Christmas surprise --> CM10.1 for our tab 7.7 ^^) dun bother, those are all alpha build with loads of problem, not recommended for daily use. Not going to touch that after having many problem with all the JB custom rom. Will stick with ICS ROM, currently on CleanROM.

QUOTE(aviecena2020 @ Dec 24 2012, 01:53 PM) yup mine one still have warranty. what is the best 'excuse' or reason for repair? i dun think it's smart to let them know my tab broken due to waterize issue... i think they will notice the water spot as soon as they crack open the case.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jan 3 2013, 02:08 PM) For a new buyer, would you all recommend a 7.7? I want a tablet that can be used to call, and note 10.1 just too big.... if not in a hurry, you should wait for the rumour Note 7 inches. Next week is CES, hopefully there is some news about it.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jan 3 2013, 02:58 PM) Was thinking about that as well, and no I'm not in a hurry, but I thought the rumoured Samsung devices will be announced much later, not at CES? nobody know, i am just being hopeful. It might be announced next month MWC, it is anyone guess. Or it might not materialise at the end. But Tab 7.7 is really aging now, not worth to get already. Samsung definitely having something to replace it under their sleeve.

QUOTE(bingozero @ Jan 28 2013, 12:16 PM) Try my friend pc loaded window xp os, it have fat32 option to format, but it only show 27.4gb after finish format, help~~ you are using a card reader? If yes, then it is not microSD XC compatible and most likely you have corrupted the card. Use Easeus Partition Master to format it with a microSD XC compatible card reader. Or put it into a phone that support 64gb card like the Note II or S3 to format it.

QUOTE(firr @ Mar 21 2013, 10:34 PM) Huhu, v.long way to go.. Maybe at that time, google hv released new updates for other devices.. i will be contended with JB in my Tab 7.7. Actually I find ICS is really good enough, but just wondering how much smoother if JellyBean is installed in Tab 7.7. Dun ask me try custom JB rom - tried but none is bug-free, stick to ICS at the moment.

Asia one all the same normally coz our version will have thai, malay, vietnamese, chinese, indonesian, etc. btw, you flash it with PC Odin? the latest Odin will do? thereafter using the old method to root? long time never flash anything on my Tab 7.7, currently with SkyHigh ICS custom rom. Thanks. This post has been edited by Cynox: May 10 2013, 04:32 PM

QUOTE(wmr91 @ May 10 2013, 11:10 PM) can guide me how to flash using odin? follow the guide at >>XDA<<. Warning: All your internal data will be destroyed as it is recommended to do a factory reset/wipe after flashing. Just flash mine.... wow... it really looks like giant S3/Note II now. btw, anyone try using a exFAT 64GB microSD card in it? Just wondering after updated to JB, can it support exFAT now. QUOTE(kevin613 @ May 11 2013, 12:46 AM) Performed OTA for my wife's tab7.7, while i'm waiting for UpInTheAir's custom build... my only wishlist for custom rom is the custom init.d file so that we can use the swap memory script like the S3 and Note II. After getting a 32GB Nexus 7 and using a 64GB Note II (after swapping memory), 16GB on the Tab 7.7 really feel so little especially after deducting those system files, only left around 13GB usable only.

update: try insert a new exFAT Sandisk 64GB microSD into the Tab 7.7 with JB. Unfortunately it still cannot support exFAT. Still need to format it into FAT32 before you can use a 64GB in it.

QUOTE(matsuru @ May 12 2013, 01:32 PM) Eden 1979, The difference between DanieL's PA 3.5 vs Samsung 4.1.2? I just flashed and settled down with PA 3.5. If Samsung 4.1.2 is not worth it, don't think I wanna reflash again. o( ><)o of course official JB is way much better.

QUOTE(Katana96 @ May 12 2013, 08:33 PM) Hi. Can i know how long is the warranty of the tab? 1 yr or 2 yrs? My sim card is kinda stuck..the spring is functioning but its lik when i eject it its lik thr is something pressing against it. I need to use a forcep to pull it out. my sim card slot is spoilt also due to similar problem. But since i am using it as a wifi only device, no issue for me. It does affect the resell value but i think i will keep this for good since the JB is official out now. Using more of it than the Nexus 7 for the pass few days. btw, anyone replace their battery? Thinking of getting a spare replacement battery ready. Wanted to get a replacement battery for my antique HTC Desire but its battery EOL.

QUOTE(miss comet @ May 13 2013, 09:47 AM) I was thinking to let go my tab 7.7 to replace it with Note 8. Then last friday got JB update. Now my tab wanted to "upgrade" to Note 8.0 too but after knowing its screen not full HD and not AMOLED, change my mind.
