Malaysia internet speed is very subjective to many factors. Even streamyx/unifi may slow for 1 day for no reason.
Btw, I was able to stream music nicely over Maxis 3G (since I have the unlimited package on it)

I updated mine using OTA. Yeah, I don't really trust kies. Many updates for kies but it never work well. Sony have a good pc companion software. It never fail to detect their devices.

Would keen to have some opinion, is it still worth to get G.TAB7.7 or get the Nexus 7.

G.TAB 7.7 older hardware and OS.

my opinion yes...as for me i use this to watch movie...play games and another sort of entertainment...with good screen..good battery life...external sd card...and 3g capabilities..it is all i need as i already have 2 nexus devices without sd capabilities...my 2cent....

yeah.. nexus dont have external memory capabilities...
like the ifone/ipad...
watching saved movies and listening to songs needs loads of memory and thus the sdcard..
for a phone, with small screen, then mabbe just relegated to phone usage due to small screen then not having an sdcard (limited storage) is not so painful..
but for a tab, limited storage is a great limitation...
but of course, nexus has the latest and greatest android os...

get both. I have the Tab 7.7 currently and find its 16GB internal memory is quite limited to install those latest game with big chunk of data. There is a swap external memory to internal memory mod - i tried but find it not working well. I will pass it to my wife to watch online videos and get a new 32GB Nexus 7 as a mini game machine.

honeycomb in 7.7 was a nightmare for me. seriously.

just change the dpi setting... dont mess with other thing... it will be fine...

is it mean if SME warranty is consider as Original?
and for e-SME warranty rite, does mean we can send to any samsung branch to claim the warranty?

hi Edan, just tried buildprop editor and set to 213. stuck at galaxy tab 7.7 logo.

tried using es explorer and edited the file directly. set 213 and got stuck too at galaxy tab 7.7 logo.

what could b the reason? anything i did wrong?

i'm on skyhigh rom 3.5 btw.
