1. give a name your console, ie: xbox
2. fix an ip on your console
3. now do a portforwarding using that ip and set all port to be open, ie: 1-52590
4. save and restart router

well depend on the router and secondly i dont want to split my network, i have pcs, smartphone, NAS and consoles. Its already complicated enough making sure all are networked together

Try turn on and off your router while still connected to LIVE. wait for reconnection. Then test your connection again.
Hope this helps.
