QUOTE(win_my @ Jun 13 2013, 04:35 PM) Agree, but when I drive on uneven road, I can hear some sound from side door/mirror, some sound from dashboard, its like the plastic dashboard not perfectly join together with glue or something. There is always some sound when I drive on uneven road. Thinking whether the protection layer can make it perfectly quiet or not....pls advice Wow, I never notice all those mentioned by you. My only prob is the GREEKKK..GREEKKK.... sound from behind. Also the air cond compressor cut off and on sound, thinking how to make that sound totally disappear cos its annoying sometime. If it is joint prob then hv to ask SC to tighten the screw. Btw, I'm going to stick CF sticker on the door panel to avid scratches when entering the car. Now hv transparent color so will look nice. |

![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Note, the film is meant for protection from chip stone on highway and not for cosmetic alone. Other colors available are transparent, blue and purple. Mine is black. Choice of color is subjective and based on personal taste.... Happy modding and hope to see more poison sharing of your Almera in this thread, thanks! QUOTE(harrychoo @ Jun 14 2013, 04:15 PM) u try to watch the video, they got demo installing the thing, they put a rubber mat inside so ur stuff won't make noise with the compartment. Harry, are u taking about the compartment without door one?and the door when closed, u can further force it another level to secure it, like a "tak" sound so it won't goyang. but of course after under hot sun for few yrs dunno lor |

QUOTE(harrychoo @ Jun 14 2013, 04:56 PM) 1) I don't think it will as it didn't affect the airbag (if any). It's just a piece of plastic. But of course I give no guarantee on that. So, it's plug and play type la...2) Can be install easily yourself. Got video to teach u to remove the Audio Unit plastic casing 1st, then remove the perut buncit screw, and use screw driver to remove few clips. U in Penang bro? Maybe I can ask the SC tech to help install.... to play safe. But doubt they are willing. |

Seriously, looks like Almera has got funny sound from rear. Suspected from exhaust pipe. I really hope SC can fix it on my 1000km service this week....................
