It depends on which spec you want I think. When I put the order in TC Puchong, the salesman told me if I order E Spec then have to wait for about 2-3 months. V and VL Spec can get the car faster, in a few weeks.

True.. Just booked last week.. Need to wait 2-3 months.. Near chinese new year.. So the car is in hot demand..

any almera owner found the rpm hestitation around 1k rpm wen deaccelerate?

I’m the owner white almera E with body kit.
Already done 1st service at SC. Max speed I can get 150km/h with 3adult & 2 kids inside. I think it can go further but me don’t dare to press the pedal further deep more & can’t stay long at that speed, I love my family.
Actually I bought this car not for racing with everyone on the road in the first place.
It is about comfortable with my small family (with 2 kids) for mid range & long range (3~5 time per year for JB to KBharu).
With the space, engine quiet, changing gear very smooth, FC, fresh look on the road & practical especially for the cup holder (for me & my kid).
Even it’s too simple for the interior, it’s better for me. Normally when I’m driving, I only focus on road not the gadget inside the car.
My wife & kids always goes to sleep already.
Initially, I’m going for forte but the budget constrains (70k only). I really don’t like waste my money on car but for housing yes….
Vios – everything is GOOD for me except the space.
Preve - cant trust the quality anymore for the time being, (waja experience for 6years). Need to move on to something new.

If you will get married & have family with 70k budget, I recommend this car.

Con – sometime I feel this car quite sluggish, but cant say more -> just press the pedal more la…hahaha

I tried my Almera VL spec at KL - kuantan - Kl with one full tank fuel left 2 bar with fuel warning indicator on when I reached KL home about 533km reaming 30KM..I tried to cruised to 180KM/h for a short distance...about 2 minutes I think...hmm..happy with the FC when going up karak high way the performance was satisfied..me and my friend and a fully loan luggage(2 programmer about 20kg,trolley,and some bags which is around 2kgs)I drove consistent of 120km/h to 130km/h...the RPM WAS ABOUT 3000rpm

mean the rpm is not stable at 1k. the rpm is going up n down, like floating...wil try to show video here....

I get your meaning....mine same ...I guess is the fan speed problem...cuz is use single fan...and rpm will adjust during the fan start up...

Got my new ride since Friday. So far so good!
Very quiet while driving at normal speed, but my wife said it feels a little bit bumpier compared with my previous car - Hyundai Accent.
Everyone just loves the spacious cabin, especially at the back!
