Almost RM80k.....
IMPULS bodykit RM1.5k (50% discount). Navigator (RM1.8k), different one from the original which is quoted at RM2.8k. But, I haven't seen it yet, so can't commend. LED signal lights on the wing mirrors, door visors, trunk tray and sport pedals. |

The rear legroom is just amazing for a B-segment car..... and it's quiet.

QUOTE(swk_sam @ Dec 25 2012, 01:03 PM) I am in dilemma considering between Almera VL & Preve CFE. Any suggestion and pros & cons? Any feedback will be very much appreciate. Depends on your preference lo...I had test drive both and my findings. Preve - Power - Stability - Functionality Almera - Reliability - Low Fuel Consumption - Comfort How great if can combine both. Nothing is perfect in this world. Added on December 25, 2012, 9:57 pm QUOTE(Ssaymlenait @ Dec 25 2012, 09:29 PM) Agree. Really not keen on Proton cars anymore. Why still support proton when they are the root cause of us paying so much for non Malaysian cars all these years... Used to own a Iswara years ago. During a year of ownership, there were a few times had to change broken door handles, power window "gun", and one time the speedometer seized to work. My current ride is a Hyundai Accent (previous model). Although their quality is not on par with the Japs, but the door handles only broke after more than 7 years. Never have any problem with the speedometer yet. I know the quality of latest Proton car models has improved, but still not keen on them. QUOTE(swk_sam @ Dec 26 2012, 09:08 PM) I not so agree. Not Proton problems. Just That Timbang use Proton as an excuse to earn more by raising foreigner car tax. Well, as I said earlier, it depends on your preference. If you want performance, then choose Preve CFE. And vice versa, if you want comfort and reliability, then choose Almera. I not keen Proton also. But after test drive, Preve CFE is totally different than the normal car on the road. If u wan to know the different, go have a test drive cause it is free anyway. After 9 months Preve in the market, i did some research for common problem on Preve. Just found few problems that happen in this model and it is solve in newer the batch. This is why i am considering Preve. No doubt Almera had the most reliability after all. lol no doubt older proton model is problematic car. But it is really getting better for newer version. Agree too. Just the performance that drove me away. If the performance can match a mitsu engine waja, no doubt i will go for it. I just felt that the Almera performance is sluggish when i floor the pedal. |

QUOTE(dares @ Dec 29 2012, 01:42 PM) It's not a pretty car, not the kind that makes you go "sh!t I have to have one!!" until you actually sit in it and got floored by the cabin space. Different people has different taste ma. For me, I would choose Almera over the dugong. It's not that ugly, I personally thought the IMPUL kit helps a bit, if not a bit overpriced. If you point a gun at me and ask me to choose between dugong and Almera.....sorry to say I still think dugong looks better |

QUOTE(yewlin @ Dec 31 2012, 09:09 PM) It depends on which spec you want I think. When I put the order in TC Puchong, the salesman told me if I order E Spec then have to wait for about 2-3 months. V and VL Spec can get the car faster, in a few weeks. |

Got my new ride since Friday. So far so good!
Very quiet while driving at normal speed, but my wife said it feels a little bit bumpier compared with my previous car - Hyundai Accent. Everyone just loves the spacious cabin, especially at the back! This post has been edited by ET_Malaysia: Jan 6 2013, 07:41 PM |

QUOTE(i_love_lowyat.net @ Jan 8 2013, 10:04 PM) Hi all, just want to share. I heard that the E Spec is very popular and the waiting list is getting longer and longer, about 2 to 3 months.... I booked the car 27 nov 2012. E spec. Manual. At putrajaya. With bodykit, and leather. No problem on the bank loan. Until now, never get my car yet. Just hang in there, you will be very satisfied driving your new car soon. |
