maybe the t-mobile version will get faster than i9300 international because international using samsung exynos cpu, while t-mobile version is using s4 krait dual core..

the development of i9300 international slow down because of samsung didnt release the driver/code for the exynos cpu..

21 September. Made by Samsung
Battery sticker = Cell Made in Korea. Assembled in Vietnam

same as mine, maybe is first batch,
can you run this code and verify further
press
*#12580*369# (this only valid with stock rom)
to check software and hardware information
On the 4th line you have RF cal, that's supposed to be date of the first call made by your phone (in the factory I guess). And on the 5th line you have HW revision.

result should be something like:
RF cal: 2012.6.5
HW Rev.: MP 1.100

yours seems to be first but maybe 2nd batch..

if your phone is original SME warranty do you mind to overcharge every night?
try update to 4.1.1 jelly bean and overcharge every night, see if mother board will fry.

Bought the phone in June.
Just change mobo because of problem.

yes, my phone is original SME and its already 4.1.1 long time ago.. What is your definition of overcharge? I normally charge my phone from 10/20% > 100% and leave it there for like maybe 1/2 hours after it finished charging..

and sometimes when im out, i use USB tethering for quite long and the phone is also charged 100% and still connected to usb for very long
*
using usb the charging rate is low, so overcharge risk is lower.
overcharge means after 100% and still leave it keep charging.

Changing the mobo may cause the RF cal change? Then mine should be that date smile.gif cos i had exchanged my mobo due to can't charge the phone biggrin.gif
*
from what i understand the rf cal date is the first call made from your phone (board), in factory they will do some sort of QC test.

Mine also just back from SC yesterday due to board issue (I think the internal chip).

RF cal: 2012.11.20
HW Rev.: MP 1.100

I didn't get the newer hardware MP 1.400
*
hmm, maybe that SC has ex-stock to swap for you.

in oversea, there is a guy had a 16GB faulty, and because board out of stock, SC replace him with a 32GB board. he is so lucky

Mine also, it was half dead on 14/November/2012 after I wake up from the phone plug charging. It just stuck at Samsung logo forever and I cannot re-flash anything in or even re-partition it.

I just get it back yesterday (3/December/2012). I am happy getting back yesterday as today was my birthday. biggrin.gif so I can use back my lovely phone. biggrin.gif

so your phone was the first batch as well? was it running jelly bean 4.1.1? are you charging using original charger?

Mine is 4.1.1 JB stock ROM, SME warrenty. RF cal: 2012.7.18 HW Rev.: MP 1.100 not rooted
I overcharge every night (from 10-20%).. every night until today.
I put there charging while i sleep at night and keep on hearing the phone beep to ask me unplug the charger.
I only unplug only i wake up at morning...

so far nothing happen to my phone (hpefully my mouth are not that soi today)
*
touch wood touch wood.

looking at the first call seems to be first batch but hard to tell, because the problem randomly happened and nobody sure if it only affected first batch.

suspect reason for motherboard issue
# jelly bean (but there were also somebody using ICS or AOSP rom ended up dead)
# overcharge (some phone dead not because of charging)
# original samsung s3 charger (most of the user in XDa claimed that they were using only samsung original s3 charger all the while and ended up with motherboard dead)

That was lucky, I dunno, as I received no stock, need wait stock arrived, and mine was not 100% faulty, it still can on, just stuck at boot logo.

Added on December 4, 2012, 11:23 amYup, my phone was 1st batch, I was using original charges and over charging every night until 14/Nov it half dead. Now it is back with stock Jelly Bean 4.1.1

stuck at the samsing i9300 logo or the samsung animation?

lol * touch wood* hopefully...

erm.. i am using original charger as well and overnight charging and charge.
kinda worry and.. im using jellybean as well.

however, i found out that mostly they had light blink on the notification before phones dead and heat prob.
lol.. i better switch off the LED notification when charging.

and heat prob.. i think most of the s3 phone has the prob once u hold and use it for long.
*
i dont think is LED notification causing the sudden death.. just avoid overcharge your phone.

Stuck at the Samsung Logo.

Added on December 4, 2012, 12:29 pmSo poor, yours one also happening. Shall be back soon. smile.gif and lucky Samsung don't care we root it before or not, as mine one still able access download mode, just cannot flash in any ROM, keep mention PIT missing and I try create PIT, but all fail. Then I send to one of the Samsung shop, it also try flash it (they using ODIN also) same result fail, and then they send over to service center. It took total around 19 days before I getting it back yesterday.
*
thanks for the clarification. I am now running CM10, so after samsung logo it will go to CM animation.

my binary status is now cleared to 0, just in case if the phone half brick..
