I don't have this issue using PlayerPro.  My past experiences using Poweramp is playing with the mids and high can be a bit tricky. I have a Sennheiser iem which has sibilant issues and using it with poweramp distort the song.

After switching to Playerpro it does in a way resolved some of the sibilant.

Maybe you would want to test out Playerpro from Play Store and give me your views.
*
unfortunately playerpro cannot play cue file..

Hi Everyone,

just wish to check with you all that my S3 4.1.1 show current freqency is 1000mhz (most of time), ever over 1100mhz. i check it by using quandrant benchmark.
is it normal?

but my gf's S3 4.1.1 (same version is mine) show current frequency is at 1200-1400mhz (most of time). same ROM, same using quandrant benchmark. both device no root.

anyone can help me on this? my phone always show 3600++ only when do benchmark test.
*
go to settings - > disable power-saving

But now the battery drain off quite fast.
*
hmm, maybe you installed too many apps.. when i was using stock rom, i like to have power-saving on to preserve battery, i didnt notice any lag or slow. maybe because i didnt play game.

i dont play games also. my phone hv no games at all. only today install 2 games.
my phone is only use for whatapps, camera, browse internet, fb.
when you turn on the power saving mode, what is the benchmark scores u get?
*
running antutu 2.9.3,
off power saving = 12,2xx
on power saving = 8,xxx

but benchmark just for reference, best is you feel yourself with your daily usage.

After flashed a custom ROM, I should do a factory reset + wipe cache/dalvik again right? (even though I already did b4 I flash the custom ROM..)

Sorry for such repeating question. I rmb got ppl teach b4, but all the time I just stick with stock rom, today finally want to gv custom ROM a try. but 4get what's the way already. lol
*
either do before flash or after flash, it doesnt matter.

some custom rom comes with Aroma installer, those will auto wipe before the flash process start.

hi,
my gmail & playstore keep on crashing.
after upgraded to 4.1.1, any of you experience the same thing?
what's your solution.

thanks
*
my solution:
go to setting -> application
stop service for
google framework
google playstore service

then clear data at both service above.

then setting -> sync (disable sync)

reboot phone

enable sync

then try with playstore.

I was wondering that since I'm about to flash a custom ROM to my phone, am I required to flash a custom kernel like Siyah as well?

Does custom ROM works on stock Samsung Kernel?
*
all custom rom will come with a kernel. dont worry. flashing 3rd party kernel is just an option, but before flashing any kernel you need to check whether the 3rd party kernel compatible with the custom rom you are flashing

Hi all s3 sifus, really need help from you guyss smile.gif

My s3 is 1.5 month old and I am facing a quite big problem.
When I am on call, my phone will always end call automatically after 1-2 mins talk. So I will need to re-call every 1-2 mins. It's so irritating!

May I know what happened to my phone and if anyone of you encounter the same problem?????
*
if you never flash your phone before, i suggest a factory reset.

Thank you so much for your suggestion  tongue.gif
Btw, will I lose all my data (sms, whatsapp conversation and etc) after factory reset?
Or, it will just reset the default system?

I am still new to android, sorry for asking too much  notworthy.gif
*
yes, factory reset means cleaning everything.. so you need to backup first.

u own any s3? if yes, take out the phone and compare, look at the status bar, look at the 'samsung' word on the body, look at the home button  wink.gif
*
my understanding is the status bar can be mod, home button look nothing different, now you mention then i only notice the samsung word really abit skewed

i thought it could be real one and it could be a mod on the display. but considering that guy only used it for 1 month. how much can he play with it. furthermore he say he havent claim warranty cos no receipt, its already a suspicious statement.

and china goods tend to have high contrast display with their electronics.
*
i was blackberry user for few years, owned 8900, 9000, 9780,
the first day i got my s3 i flashed it to leaked rom, then in another few days i start to flash custom rom, flash mod, edit system file...
so i thought with google and some forum everybody can tweak a phone.

but i agree, the statement without receipt is really suspicious.

too bright screen
the home button
the sensor
the clarity
the colours
*
ok, found another difference, the sensor too close together.

what is wrong with the home button? the shape looks ok.

the screen brightness, clarity and phone color could be white-balance issue while taking picture so i have no comment. trying to learn how to distinguish a fake product by the outlook..
